i dont understand y you are complaining so much. ive had mind for 2 weeks now and it works fine. not a single reboot, music player plays fine, alarm work etc etc.

@ickle, well obviously you got a good handset. I complained and returned 2 faulty handsets because while playing music, my W760i stuttered. Randomly the music would drop out for less than a second.. Now the main reason i bought the W760i walkman phone, was to play music... Sound quality was nice, but i just could not accept this fault. I'm rally sad not to have this phone, it should have been great, but it simply wasn't.

If you have a 02 W760 the latest firmware has been out for a while, that fixes all problems.
There isnt any firmware available for any unlocked w760 :S |

The latest firmware has been out a while?? how long is a while? cos i have had the phone for about 3 weeks now and mine is still crashing. So how do i get upgraded to the latest firmware if i'm with o2??

You use the sony ericsson update service, the update has been out for a few weeks now

i tried using SEUS but it always just says i have latest version of firmware already, still having problems with the phone though.
Might just send the thing back to o2 and ask for a new one!! |

hi all!
does W760 has the new equalizers (with clear bass and presets based on genres) as it is seen in gsmarena and mobile review, or the plain old presets (with mega bass)?
I read different information about this, and just want to know the one used in the released products.. thanks! |

Unfortunately it doesn't, no.
"[...] makes room for an updated set of equalizer settings, although these are not available in W760 (yet?)", as I wrote in the review, just linked to above

Only the protos had this equalizer, GSMArena and M-R did not test retail units.

I prefer the silver one, but i settled for the black one, as when i went to get it that's all they had in stock and i didn't want to wait!! lol.
The black one is still ok, but you have to like the colour combination (black and gold/yellow) to want it, otherwise the plain but stylish silver is what i'd choose.

Should I choose one, the black and yellow..although I hate yellow...-is the most stunning one.Really beautiful!
The Silver one I find sooooo dull--I usually prefer silver phones!
