To Semicon, I was just in Semicon Podium this afternoon asking if I could have my T68i upgraded to R7A. According to the customer service people (and after consultation with the technical people inside) that an upgrade is not recommended because of "instability" of the software with the T68i model. Is this true? I just want to confirm. I'm after the supposed "faster" interface of the R7A software vs. R6A because I've noticed that my phone functions (particularly my SMS access) have been horribly slower than before. Hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks. |

So finally it is confirmed that the T68i that i bought at semicon main is not an i but an ie, hongkong. as per your technician. And can't have the euro language pack upgrade to solve my font inconsistency. Was i deceived or what? Please enlighten me! Thanks.

@lanie: thanks for the info, but the main reason why i bought this unit at semicon was the ASSURANCE that it's a T68i and not ie, i should've bought na lang sa greenhills if ie din lang pala ang mapupunta sa akin. anyway thanks for the info.
