No one seems to be responding to robbie1's question so I might better repeat it: does anyone have an idea what's going on when you're flashing and the PC won't recognize the phone, even though PC Suite recognizes it perfectly? This still happens with a lot of my friends even though we have installed all the USB drivers from the software CD. |

My PC didn't recognise one of my SE phones when I tried to flash it with Davinci. I just used the SE Update service software to connect to my phone...it said software was uptodate etc. Then Davinci worked. I think when I used the SE updater it activated drivers that PC Suite didn't ?!? |

Can anyone explain how to get the maps from maploader to actually work with Wayfinder?
There seems to be no option in Wayfinder to get it to use maps locally from the memory card! |

Have you paid a subscription for Wayfinder? My understanding is that downloading maps will not work with the trial. |

I have had the phione (black) a week.
Ericsson please do something about
1. No Video sharing option in WMLI
2. Backlight goes off too quickly and is not adjustable
3 GPS takes ages for initial connection then seems ok
4 On button could be changed to big middle button or a side button
5 Ring number button might be better to be central button
6 No light/torch option
7. Wayfinder - need to be able to download maps to phone memory.
8. GPS status would like to see height as well as long/lat.
I spent ages but found out how to enable network sharing/ WMLI - it needs to be connected to WIFI then you get extra options in Wifi Advanced, switch network sharing ON. Then you will be able to connect on your PC. The PC asks for user name and password which you set by entering these on the phone in Connectivity/Network Sharing option

The separate app Wayfinder Active will let you view altitude as well. |

you should be able to use the theme creator from the SE development team.
SE theme creator does not support the c905 yet.
themes are just .tar files. Change extension to tar and you can open it with tugzip or similiar, change the shots to your own, then rezip and rename to .thm. Must be rezipped as a "tar" archive - zip or rar won't work.
Theme files are just a bunch of images and an xml file that enumerates the colours and images for various elements.
Can anyone post a C905 theme? I'll have a look at it and see what's possible.
