Can you not ask your operator to block those kind of numbers, here in the UK with O2 I can block any non geographical number with a simple call to them.

I find most of the rubbish call's I get on my mobile actually come from O2 UK selling of my data to other companies.

My O2 contract is nearly due for renewal, the amount of junk sales call's I've had these last few day's to renew my contract is beyond a joke, luckily I just add the number to call blocker app.

Only a couple of week's & O2 can stick there sim card, number & awful customer service where the sun don't shine!

Yup. Got it XperiaJunkie.. But it checks the sim for region.. So even though I imported..I still can't get the movies.

Slightly off topic..so zu has been released with stock android on the play store? I wish they did the same with Z1...

I think they chose the Z Ultra as it adds quite a difference device to their range of phones whereas the Z1 is very similar to the Nexus 5 spec wise apart from the camera and Google will want all the focus on the Nexus. Also the camera set up for the Z1 having a manual mode might mean Google would have to develop the camera app just for the Z1 or have just one camera UI that allows full access to all camera settings.

I think its smart for them cuz for them to pick phone with same SoC as their Nexus 5 line, even the camera is the same MP. They can basicall use the same software as nexus 5 whenever N5 get an update.

I'm just wondering which call blocker you use? I get pestered all the time with crap marketing calls so I'm on the lookout for a decent call blocker app.

some features of 4.4 are very similar to the Sony UI - maybe even used under licence or some other type of agreement

Or, if your have root, Root Call Blocker Pro. I find no issues with it and it blocks calls silently. quite customizable too.

I'm not rooted so I can't use those ones, but I've been looking on the play store and there's absolutely loads of them that's why I've asked.

Hi All. Finally bought the Xperia Z1 yesterday. Batch BH900. And it definitely has the yellow hue issue. Having said that the viewing angles and the screen appears really good. All the videos reproduce white colour really well. I realy dont know if its just a calibration issue or hardware problem. Sony service in India is really bad and its seems that they are not giving replacements as they havent accepted the problem. Kind help me. Will this be sorted out in the next firmware update?
