it's a marketing thing
as long as NEC hasn't figured out how to make their whites on the screens look white, 16M color will mean nothing
(most Nokia nowadays use NEC screens)
262k color is good enough |

to a lot of people in the industry the best way of accessing the color on a screen would be white (any tints? NEC yellow? sony blue? sharp cyan?) and scarlet (vivid enough? too vivid like most OLEDs? rusted red like epson/olympus screens?) |

You're all making me shy now!!  Thanks for the compliments!! And ya'll know that I could've never made these designs without you guys. Without all the info, rumors, hints, leakages, discussions, I wouldn't even have started drawing these phones way back (it started with faked spyshots of the K750i http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/7725/t650ef3.jpg ).
Btw........ very soon it'll all be over. I'm moving to Italy next month for 4 months and I won't be as active... and after that..... having finished my university.... I will start working fulltime...... but I'll always find time for my passion.  |
