Can you not ask your operator to block those kind of numbers, here in the UK with O2 I can block any non geographical number with a simple call to them.

cost money you have to get some kind of call blocking subscription even if its free, these telemarketer keep changing their numbers around, its much easier to just block it yourself.

here in the states we have a do not call registry. not sure if there's something similar for canada. i'm on it, but the occasional telemarketer sneaks through .. technically illegally.. but i never go through the trouble of filing a report.

anybody get any hints as to when 4.3 will be hitting our lovely Z1?

I would expect seeding to begin in the next week or so then all the software engineers will be off for Christmas and the new year. My Z1 is network locked so will have to wait for approval once my network has the update.

A new update to the Walkman app is available to download from the update centre this is likely just bug fixes over the previous version as the new build number is 8.0.A.0.4 over. 8.0.A.0.3.

I'm in the states.. Most probably not ever gonna get the free movies unfortunately. But if they are really only offering SD quality then I'm not that disappointed. Shame on Sony though. They should definitely offer HD.
