sanj

not the status/info I received from nowMMS to confirm the MMS being sent lah. I off tht all the time.

I mean when I am sending the message out. Beside data being uploaded, there's always data being downloaded for no reason. I know it might be some communication code within the server with the phone but what is tht...I am not sure.

IF you use a houseline and Pop3 acct...go check out what happen in the sent/receive status whenever you send an email then you will get what I mean.

Whatever option you off will not avoid this.

tsujie,
correction for Sanj here. MMS is a mesagging system where require and mobile internet service. some how rather it's not only GPRS can make the MMS work. i manage to get the wap work on MMS as well. but the charges will be base on the access time to download the message. and let me remind u again. WAP is 9.6kps conenction.

for some cases... download MMS using WAP for 20kb u need about 2-3 min. that will cost u about 0.60 to 0.90 per msg. but of coz... sometimes WAP can be disconnect and even lagging!

@fulat, i knew that. Purposely left that bit out. Because it is like trying to download a movie through a 56k modem. Which is why i left that tiny bit of info out. It can be considered negligible lah... Who soo free wanna use GSM wap to get MMS? Ish ish ish Tsk Tsk Tsk ...

CaTa,
nope.... my t68 don't have such problem. when u select the option send MMS it prompt u number. then u move ya pointer to left. u see 4 option. 1. phonebook 2. email address 3. SIM entries 4. unsaved nos.

sanj,
me so free. coz if u access WAP after 12am for maxis user. the charges for WAP is extremely low. 10 min for RM0.30. it save cost for me to download using GPRS.

Hi guys ,

I would need some help from the well known nice and friendly Malaysian here! I recently sent a T68 to my brother in Malaysia from London and he would like to program chinese language onto it. Can this be done in Malaysia and roughly how much it will cost?

Thanks for any advice... fan

In answer 2 yer queries. Try ericserve in amcorp mall if yer bro's in kl. If out of kl, u need 2 check the se site 4 local dealer details. If yer set is warrantied, then its foc. If not, It'll set u back bout rm50. Cheers mate.

Thanks for your advice mate! Much appreciated indeed. Unfortunately, he's in Seremban, so I suppose he got to get in touch with a :se: service centre.
By the way, just out of curiousity, can it be done at a third party independent phone shops? Where is this well known amcorp by the way since I haven't been back for 4 years.
