There.. Is no tweakin.. Of wingate.. It never increases.. The speed! No way! Cos it only.. Routes the connection.. Through ssl support.. For Nop users.. There is no use for wingate for mobile office users using a single phone.. for live users it only loops back the connection to localhost

@fullthrottle bro, even i live close to an edge tower, but the max. Speed I've ever got was 10kBps .. And that too a long ago. These days am only dependent on 211 proxy, as nothing else, works. There is no mobile office for pre-paid in my city, and i can't use 99 because airtel has launched a new service sorta nop using the same airtel live settings..

i tried wingate long time back..... when jing posted the TUT........ only useful if u have to MO connections....... and when u r downloading a file which has 2 or more sections....... i gave it up when they launched edge in my place......

i was in this forum long ago when it was all working well . i was using 6600 but my phone got damaged and i couldnt ust this trick..but ow i brought new one 6233 tried 2 connect with that but its not working.........page loading takes...nothing happens.....pls help me frnds my details
*i m frm south zone
*using ivt bluetooth
*edge is enabled in my place
*tried changing useragent
*im using 99 proxy

dude i don't know where in south u r..... but here in my place kerala..... spartans trick works rarely....... if one minute it works then the next minute no response...... it will make u literally mad...... so go get MO.... here it is 250 p.m...... or if u r want a cheaper option get bsnl's 200p.m unlimited gprs for postpaid........ and believe me speeds r gr8 too..... not like the congested airtel network ....... u can achieve speeds upto 26KBps in bsnl.........
and regarding wingate..... don't expext it to work with airtel live trick.... no use...... getting 2 MO connections is the answer.......
and ur advanced initialisation string u sent me i.e "AT+CBST=0,0,1;+CHSN=6,0,0,0;+CGDCONT=,,"airtelfun.com" is out of the world bro..... don't know where u got this from
mine is this
AT+CGDCONT=,,"airtelfun.com" for airtel live
&
AT+CGDCONT=,,"airtelgprs.com" for MO
if that doesnt solve ur problem.... then open up "nokia pc suite" select "connect to internet" click settings and select "configure internet connection manually" and type airtelfun.com in accesspoint leaving username and password blank..... click next and the right extra initialisation string will be automatically defined in the modem options.....

i m frm kerala too...this trick was working fine 4 me months ago suddenely stopped. but i think its still working on phone using streaming technique...but my new phone..is java not symbian so this trick cant be done is there anyway to work this trick in JAVA phones pls help....... |

Hi friends for the next few days’ airtel mobile office users may face some sort of problems like frequent disconnection and some may even face problem while connecting the only solution is to request for the new settings and clear your cache and restart your phone .Even if this doesn’t solves your problem wait for few minutes it will resume but your live will be working fine!! |
