earspeaker test is really very strange. I supose you should listen to the test sound with your phone at your ear, but the volume is so high that it seems as a speaker not earspeaker. Perhaps really with new FW SE has broken the limits of harware and this is why we have this damn hissing. |

Overall, Im happy so far with R1N035 (I cant update yet anyways). The only thing that disturbs me is that I can easily use the phone for 5 days in a row listening an average of 3 hours daily of music with a single battery charge....and thats cool, but as soon as I start playing Java games, the battery drop dramatically. Im talking about 15-20% drops with 15 or 20 minutes of play. Nothing fancy, just some Sudoku and Midnight Pool.
Are this "Java Battery Draining" a R1N035 only problem or can I expect the same on later firmware?
Peace

You can expect this on all firmwares, playing javagames/videos require the screen being lit all the time, plus processing consumption from running the game/video, this use more battery than just listening to music. The screen is one of the most powerdraining parts of the phone. 20 minuttes with fully lit screen while running a javagame or video, could easily make up for several hours of musiclistening (screen turned off). |

I have updated my w800i to R1AA008 because anxious to get rid of the ms bug, but now i have a bigger problem!
my phone is restarting verry often, and worse, sometimes it freezes..
I can see the screensaver with the time, stoped, and i have to take out the battery, because it isn't responding to any button
what pisses me off, is the fact that it probably freezes when something happens, like when somebody is trying to call me
somebody else had this problem?
what can i do?
this is the main function of this thing, that's why it's called a phone,
and when somebody is trying to reach me, this junk can or can not ring!
i'm starting to hate it for this |

10X Numb. I was expecting that and yes, its kinda obvious that the Java gaming will drain more battery than MP3 play. Its just that I used to play for very long periods on my P800 with the screen lit and the battery drain was lower than the w800. Anyways,,,thanks for the clarification.
Peace.

Okay people it looks like this R1AA008 F/W has more serious bugs than R1N035 I hope I am right.
The only problem I've experienced with R1N035 is the file transfer.

I've had a read through of your comments and I not sure if I should update my K750. I'm on N35 at the moment, and had to send that away to O2 to fix the problems.
Has anyone anything goods to say about the firmware update for the 750?
Thanks Slippery |

I have a bug now that I updated my phone to R1AA008, when I try to edit a 3gp video on VideoDJ, I add the video and choose edit to cut a part of it, while in edit mode and trying to fast forward the video to define the start of the cut the phone restarts itself...so I can't edit videos on VideoDJ...
Other thing i noticed is that the battery takes less time to charge but also drains faster...

Well I've just updated my K750i to R1AA, got to say I'm impressed, the camera and screen are so much better, plus the menu feels smoother. On the downside I've noticed that I can't magnify panorama pictures that I've taken...

One more question.
I rely on my phone for internet, now the questions is will I be able to use that same internet to update my phone.
How does it work? Does it download all the required files and then work offline or it does everything online? |

Not sure about the update... I think I'll leave it for now.
Do they try to debugg the Firmware before releasing?
Having said that... Have you downloaded the new SEUS update interface??? This it seems is the better part of the update.
