@djin,
I already talked to our local dealer in Bahrain named Fakhro, one said it will come this month at the end or early November, then I called them again but this time the guy told me there's no info yet, and they didn't make any order.. but he expected that it will come in December or January !!
If the dealer you talked to was original Sony dealer then it's okay I'll assume that the guy in Bahrain's dealer doesn't know.. but if it wasn't then it might be imported...
Edit: any way, with the new Nexus phones are very close now end of Oct or early Nov.. I think I'll wait for that time already while waiting for Xperia TX... lets hope there's something interesting... if it was only that LG, I'll just go for Xperia TX...

Can someone give me a definition of a Phablet pls =.=
The last time, we have Dell Streak 5" display and we call it a "Phablet", now 5" seem to be "too small" to be called a Phablet :<
Phones these days increase in size so fast, i can't even know which Display size is the ideal one anymore =.= |

Is this Xperia Flagship with 5 inches screen be much bigger, body wise, than Xperia S?
And 6 inches? God, that will be awkward to make calls.

I totally agree. Not everybody wants to carry a brick in their pocket. The XS and XT are already on the large side.
Sony should make a 4.3", 4.6" and a 5" high end phone. If the 5" is the only high end phone next year than I can already say "Sony lost a loyal costumer". |

Once upon a time a company said that there would be no need for a tablet of any other size but the Galaxy note proved to be a surprising success even for Samsung. I'm seeing more and more computers using tablets and galaxy notes.
I think the line is already blurred but I think 6" is probably the limit you can comfortably use as a phone.

Well imagine 6 inch phone display. That's just 4 inches off a netbook size display. Imagine making phone calls on that??

Well... I guess depending on the size of the bezel it could potentially be just a bit larger than the Note. I keep thinking about that patent Sony has where they place all the front sensors behind the screen, which would help minimize the size of the bezel. If they could pull something like that off then the whole device could be much more managable.
Either way, that 5" or 6" device shall be my next phone... unless they give word of VitaOS phones, in which case I'll wait for that. It saddens me a bit each day when I look at my X10A, but at least I have hope to cling to now |

Thank you very much, randomuser .
With all this huge flagships this year, 5” is already within reach and not reserved for phablets anymore. With the trend for larger displays, it will be mainstream in 2013. On-screen Android keys and edge-to-edge display are a must. Let’s hope they don’t forget to equip the 4-4.5-ish” models with as much specs as possible of the flagship.
We can't stop here. This is phablet country .

Chill guys, there is no reason to panic. Yes the Xperia flagship for 2013 will have a 5 inch screen, but that doesn't mean it's going to like the Note. It will be the same size as the Ion overall. |

Really? So we're looking forward to a 5 inch screen with hardly any bezel?
Sounds very nice.
