Hmmm... Alright... I knew about that tutorial of wingate, but what i fail to understand is that how does it affect speed if a single phone is connected- as jack was heard saying..

wingate will combine all these connection.n will setup a proxy server on localhost, which the browser/dm used to send request. wingate recive the request n split the load among the variour connections available
suppose we got 3 mobile of 10KBps.. then resulting speed is 30KBps almost 256kbps
n i dont know how he did with a single phone

@jack first of all i am heartly sorry if ne of my last words hurts u in any mean.. I dont want to hurt u. Jst want to remind u about ur mistake or u can say persistance on a thing that hav no great use in real life.. May b u r getting such speeds but if evry1 got iritated by that then u shud shut the topic.. Or on the other part if u r getting such speeds "U SHUD GUIDE US" but u dnt evn xplain dat clearly..

how did u got banned.
and i believe u that one can Dwnld 1gb/day.
wen i was in BIHAR i used to get 5.6kilobytes/sec of speed usin MO and i was able to Dwnld 200mb in abt 10hrs n then we didnt had edge even. so if u hav edge then ur Dwnld will be abt 4times faster. so 1 can Dwnld abt 800mb in 10hrs. and if u continue Dwnldin for 24hrs then u can Dwnld more than 2gb/day |

Wingate.. Works.. For me too i get a max speed.. Of 15/kb day..
sometimes.. In the nite around 17kb so.. Download.. Would be around 1.3GB. Some one had also put an snapshot of Mo with.. 30Kb download speeds.. Hence jack.. Might have got.. Tat speeds

it's very sad that jack hav been banned on Esato. moderators would hav given him warning earlier also. it should not be happenned. i personnely feel very bad on this issue.
why shouldnt we start a thread to take back jack-spicer. what do all you think?? |

so how many phones you used?two... To get 15+kbps.. Is there any tweak in wingate for speed factor?

what speed factor are you talking about? An example would be if you use two 6020 (EDGE) @ 150 kbps each, you will get a grand total of 300 kbps, hence around 2 Gb per day if you leave it on all the time.

i have used.. A single phone.. nokia 3250 its an gprs class 10 n edge. Class 10phone! I normally get.. 14-15kb download speeds! I have an edge tower near ma place too.. But have never got speeds above.. 20
