I figured it out I think  looked at this thread
Can I use the £10 on the SIM card to browse the internet on my phone or does it have to be used for texts and calls?

 Ah that's what I forgot to tell you. That sim card is on the text & web tariff so that £10 top up has on it for the month already 300 free texts & 500mb browsing  It's the free allowances for topping up. So use it all ya like. And you still got the £10 so you got a good bargain there mate Goto O2 Wap site then click on My O2 & then My Allowances on the mobile & you can see your tariff

ooh cool I will Do I have to use it all by the end of the month? will it say i cant access the internet if ive spent all my money?

Yes by the date shown when the top up was made. In your allowances page on O2 wap page it shows when your month ends. It is different dates for everyone. But if you topped it up before the next month say £10 you get the smae allowances next month

Ok Is there anyway I could use too much calls/text/internet time and they could charge me more than what I was meant to be charger or would it stop me from using them all?

No cos it's pay as you go & once your credit runs out then you cannot go over anything If your internet runs out it warns you then if you carry on browsing your credit will vanish

oh that's good so I can't be charged if I over use things cos it wont let me connect tariffs are complicated

Well that's the deal it's pay as you go. If you got no credit left then you cannot connect that's why it's called pay as you go

You can also find out your allowance by dialing 4444 then press 2 then press 2 again & the woman's voice tells you your remaining internet & texts allowances. Matt your signature........LICK A TREE?? or LICK AN ELM
