@Sony Ericsson Indonesia - They have the phone already, Dairin, TonyG and Benedict, they got it last week. I will get mine probably next month, I hope I won't get the hissing problem.
BTW, they have the choice of whatever pic they want to use, it doesn't necessaryly mean that they should have that phone before they can use it as pic icon. Cheers!
@TonyG - How true that SE will be releasing T610 with 4MB memory?

Hi ygjohn,
My T610 does have the hissing sound at times, but it's not that bad, just sound like something in the background. Guess the later s/w update should be able to correct it.
I bought mine from M1, traded in my T68 for $150 n got the T610 for $468, good deal!
Firmware R1A081
The polytones on T610 sounds so much better than the Nokia phones, it clear and sharp, probably Sony audio technology. I downloaded complete midi songs like Lady in Red and Africa to test... WONDERFUL!

Samsung v200 may be better.
Saw T610 at one Singtel road show. Side by side with Samsung. T610 display is very bad if you compare to Samsung current TFT model.
Keys on T610 is very small too. Why SE cannot make the key something looks like T600? |

it might be small for u but not to others ..... if u compare TFT with STN confirm it will loose out
each phone got their own design and concept

Well kucibubu>- T610 is doing well here. practically sold out when first
launched by Sony. As some ppl do complain on the hissing sound but some like me do not have. However, our SC had already found a solution to rectify it. In general, it is a good phone. You can go to http://www.secentral.net to see what our T610 users say.

One week is not enough! haha
You can shop till you drop! the Great Singapore Sale is now on.....and there are many places of interests(Zoo,bird park, sentosa island, east coast beach, etc) which you can locate on the tourist map at our Changi Airport...
and you can buy a prepaid sim card.....should cost ard less than SGD30, for more information on that, you can log on to one of the service provider's website www.m1.com.sg and look for 'M card'
Hope you will have a smashing good time!

Sure, price too.
Can you read the ABC on the key clearly outdoor ?
There is so much space at the keyboard area. They should take the design of T600 to fill up the whole area. |
