I'm quite content to keep the original SP. It looks to be pretty high quality - mine is as good as new after nearly 3 weeks of normal use so by replacing it I'd be fixing something that isn't really broken.

I got a new 16gb microSD card, can I just copy my 8gb card and everything will work on the 16gb, or do I need to reinstall all the apps?

CCurrently, any Apps installed are not stored on the sd card, its stored on phone memory. Thats how android phones work for the moment, they are suppose to be updating that feature at some point. But other than that a simple copy will transfer anything else over, music, pictures, etc

I contacted SE Support through the live chat feature on the website to ask about the photo tagging problems I was having.

First question I asked - In some photos, even though there is a clear face, the face recognition software doesn't detect the face. I asked if there was a manual way to add a tag and association to a contact.

ANSWER: No. It is a software issue and may be addressed in a future update.

Second Question - I have photos with multiple faces, both faces have the "unknown" tag. I click the tag to change name, select the contact, but the association is not saved.

ANSWER: This may be a software issue too. Try resetting your phone or doing a master reset. Otherwise, wait for a software update.

In the end, not much help at all.... :/ anybody else having these issues?

I think SE Xperia X10 supports multi-touch. I looked for the number 115539, instead of FQN0B1155391 as I was not getting any relevant result, and a multi-touch patent came out that had been filed by Apple. That part might have been named after the patent to indicate multi-touch. Here's the link: http://www.freshpatents.com/Gesturing-with-a-multipoint-sensing-device-dt20080214ptan20080036743.php

The only evidence of history repeating itself is you continually being a moron. Give it a rest already.

Yeah, the X10 isn't the perfect phone, but no phone ever is. Of course we all could have waited for newer phones to come out, and they'll probably be better. Usually new technology is better than old (duh). The rest of us are hanging around this thread because we own or are interested in the X10 and want to discuss it in some way or another. You literally serve zero purpose here.

it is true that you cannot catch up with technology, but we should also admit that SE has been somewhat of a late follower of innovations for the last couple of years; e.g. X10 SHOULD have had Android 2.1 and dual-touch as it was released.

Though I am a devout SE fan, there is not a single factor that distinguishes the X10 from its rivals, but there are many options that the rivals offer which X10 does not have. Long story short, there is really no sound reason to prefer this phone over others, and unfortunately, there are many to prefer others to X10.

keyword used above sealover is 'coming'.... yes, they are COMING! The x10 has been on the market for about a month now... new iphone due when, june/july? the dell, Q4...

I fail to see what your getting at???

No idea why you find the need to use the ':lol:' smiley 3 times? Clearly you're the only one who thinks you are funny .... the joke is on you! The only history repeating itself here is you, yet again, showing how much of a douche you really are!

And this is definately the last time i reply to any of your posts, well, unless they are constructive of course... Though that doesnt look like it will be anytime soon.

@sealover,

Your predictions always wrong. And surprisingly many preferred X10 eventhough its coming with 1.6. You should check what 1.6 in x10 can do.
