D automatical bt feature is on d same way useful 4 d user of d fone, just as 4 d batt itself. D engineers delivered again their best knowledge by fixing d optimal using of d fone. T39, r520, t68m and i has got it. In case at sending or rec items via irda or bt, after we r done and go 2 these menues, d fone offer us automatically d OFF, so we dont have 2 scroll and choose between ON OFF or 10min at irda , 3min at bt. Brilliant feature!

1 of d best feature i think in /// fones is d MY SHORTCUTS. a very sharp idea from lund, 2 reach d most important menus in d shortest time. /// was always leader at service and support, even in case of d costumers, even at their fones.

Another great feauter is d sms function. I can make direct call 2 d sender, can save or send d nr. I do like in 520, if i want 2 edit d number, by pusing d up arrow d cursor jump 2 d start of d nr. Ie d bookmark at wap feature is full, i can store some more as unsent mess.

Can you do cut/copy/paste in your 520's phonebook? This is really great function. You dont need to remember somebodys number when changing user info in pb. Pretty cool thing :-)

If i well remember t65 was d first fone with d feature 2 select pix 2 d several contacts. Do liked it, especially in case receiving sms or ems.

Mca10 and later models... /// set a new milestone in mobile biz. In d first time 2 send a pic was only poss as attachment and d pix could b stored in d camera. We c now where 2 it has been developed. D idea 2 make a pic with a fone has been realized by /// !

Voice dialling, voice answer, managing d voicerecorder, changing d profiles by voice. All these features r d evidences of d revolutonary steps of /// . T39 and R520 had all them first, not 2 forget, they have been launched 4 years ago!

Uh, Bobafett, that one small news article pic you posted.. it's in Finnish and it says
"Ericsson fires 10 000 workers" and that "Nokia is believed to gain more market share"
Wasn't that the beginning of their end?
Anyway.. looking at this thread.. and your worshiping of Ericsson.. made me realise how little I value Nokia over other brands

D first keypads were made of plastic. Do like d massive buttons on d 3 6 and 8 series. I am really not a fan of rubber keypads, feels soft and look cheap 4 me.

I agree. R320s had a plastic keypad. I was writting over 200 sms's a day and the keypad lasted more than 2 years. Amazing :-)

Two hundred SMS's a day.. that's 6000 SMS's a month. One every 4 or 5 minutes.. if you sleep 12 hours. My operator charges 0.17€ for each SMS.. that would cost 1020 euros a month.. almost $1300. I advise you get a Nokia, they have a bigger SMS memory and are faster  |

In case writing messages do like 2 access d options nenu in 3 different ways. 1 option button 2 * or 3 # . If i wanna switch 2 enter numbers, i use d * . Nice 2 c, that /// made thoughts of individuality using. We have d same possibility in d contacts menu, 3 ways 2 get there r offered 4 us.
