Try Twin Pines in Makati Cinema Square and True Weight in Araneta Ave. Q.C. If you want one that's locally made, Try Tony Pascual's in Mayon, Q.C. |

yes, speaking of local greats.... tony pascual's products are good. you can see his designs for the M-16/ M4 muzzle brake/flash suppressors at the guns shows, if you want to check the quality, before ordering. and yes, he has started to make weaver and rails for many units now. so i'd assume there will be something there for you that you would like.

Twin Pines Rob Galleria has a quadrail( can't recall the brand though). Final Option in MCS has a 1st Samco handguard that only has upper and lower rails, not a quadrail but is value for money. I agree with Doc and Boy Saint, Tony Pascual offers excellent quality products. |

photos of some of the firearms we were able to handle out there. i find the safety mechanism of this model very unusual. but the rest of the design is the precursor of what almost every modern pistol will be, after some painful initial "birth" process. count on H&K for innovation.

Wow! the squeeze cocker. That gun's far ahead of its time, sad that Americans didn't develop much of a liking for it the way Europeans have. Haven't seen that one up close, much less handle it. Does it take much effort to cock the piece using the grip?

i have small hands. but nope, not much effort to squeeze! my initial handling inconvenience is that i tend to release the squeeze after every shot, hahahah! but nothing of a big trouble. familiarization is all i need. |

ok doc! well, eto at gusto ko na nga iuwi eh
yes it started the striking firing-pin trend instead of a hammer, the intro of polymer materials, the unconventional safeties which excludes the manual thumb safety trend, the "almost bullpup" design, and many other details in and out of the gun, which makes this model a remarkable one.

Are you left handed? I'm a lefty too. ......Just noticed you're holding the gun on your left. Another nice thing with that gun is that its lefty friendly.

opsss no, i am not left-handed. i just held it with my free hand, which is my left one. the right hand has the camera, doing the dreaded one-handed shot, which even in shooting is supposed to be improper . |

As long as you can keep the cam steady Using both hands in shooting is the way to go to get fast, consistent and accurate hits but learning to shoot with both your strong and weak hand is a plus as you'll never know if you may have to resort to this if either hand is injured in the event of an encounter.
In competitions there are stages(specially in qualifiers) where you have to learn to shoot with both strong and weak hands.
Would you know how much a P7M8 costs here? Thanks

from the last gunshow, i saw nashe (i know you hate the store.... ) sell them for Php60k, no licensing fee yet. there was another store, unfortunately i forgot the name, also have it for the same price. well, at least we know there's another store who sell it, aside from the one you hate to go back to. oh yes, a note of nostalgia... TriMark used to sell a version with extended and threaded barrel.
there is a rare version with 13-rounds of 9mm, the P7-M13, can be seen in HKpro.com ....check it out. |

Thanks. Its more or less the same price as the S&W m629 that I'm eyeing at Twin Pines once I satisy my other hobbies. If and when I decide to get the p7, I may just have to bite(gNashe) the bullet so to speak. Anyway, we'll see. thanks again.
