PaperWorldTour is better. There already is "around the world".
I like the secret posting idea. I wonder who'll show up with a photo saying; i've got it!

Who knows
Almos has total freedom to pick whoever he wants, so does the next person and the next and the next and the next

I wonder, how many of the list in the first post will still be interested, after such a long time.

Yes, maybe he should, as only a handful of us have been posting in this thread during the last few months. As nothing happened, the other participants have forgotten about it, I'm afraid.

A new thread is fine with me. I don't mind using this one either.
Almos could make his first post, sending the letter, the same as the post to close this thread.

almos nice idea. But i've got one question. I think we should make one list of the participants and post it somewhere may be here or may be in new thread. Then one with the postcard will select one from the list and send him pm for his postal address. This will make things easy. For instance, i've got the postcard now i will contact any of you but there are chances that i might be knocking on the forbidden doors. Means if someone dont want to participate and if i contact him/her, then...?? May be post card will be with me only but it will take some unnecessary waste of time. If we have list, anyone can pick up from that and tour will be speed up. Plus as the postcard reaches one member of that list, his name should be omitted from the list so it will not confuse others whom to send. I hope i have made my point clear.

All the names of the participants are already in the first post of this thread, so it might be useful to stay with it and only add something to the title (like Hans did in his sig) to draw the attention of the "old" participants, but some might have completely forgotten it, or are not interested anymore (who wants to blame them?).

I think we should start from the zero. Start new thread, invite people. May be we can PM all the members of previous list and ask for their willingness if they still want to join new paper tour. It may take some time, one week or so, but we have new list of people who are willing to continue paper tour. and as the paper tour continues we can still add new people in the list. Once everything done, last person should post that card to laffen.
But seriously, i like the hans idea of paper with our signature on it. And we would have something in real then email or scanned paper. But due to some very busy people, we all have suffered. I am still in favour of old idea of hans and want to continue that tour, if possible. Plus we would have limited expense of sending paper to nearby country rather sending it to some far far land. That is called world tour, in my perception. Rather going haphazardly around the world.

The problem with following a list is that people when it's their turn suddenly are busy. And I do like the surprise factor of "where is the paper" or did we use that phrase to much

Hi All,
-> no new thread - Rather stay with existing - will ask hans if ok with him to edit a bit the first post. I can help if needed just let me know/drop me a pm.
-> keep the list to be able to track who's on/off
-> Mention perhaps the fact that the receiver will be picked randomly based on pm/chemistry and will not be revealed until he/she receives the envelope - the surprise factor
- > change a bit the first post - have a banner proposal attached - hope you like it:
@Hans - if fine with you and have the time possible to ask for a small refresh of the first post? Thanks!

great banner
I'll edit the first post tomorrow morning.
The country of interested people is in the list so everyone can decide for themself if they want to send abroad or closeby.
Just one remark. Don't wait to long for a reply after pm'ing for someones address. We filled 30 pages with waiting, now we want pics! emark. Don't wait to long for a reply after pm'ing for someones address. We filled 30 pages with waiting, now we want pics!
