Hello,

Does someone know how compete the C901 against the Samsung jet ?

edit : hum I found a website where they compare the C905 with the jet and the jet seems to be better... and i'm not sure the C901 will do any better than the C905..

first of all, C901 have camera cover! Jet don't have it and you can imagine quality of pics taken with all kind of dirts on front glass - isn't this important when major feature for end-user is camera? next thing - both phones were tested by gsmarena.com and it's hard to find better/worse for daylight pics. cameras in C901 and C905 are two different things - C901 is much closer to 5MP than C905 to 8MP

Hey thanks for your answer.

Camera cover is probably a good point you're right, however my W810i doesn't have one and I can't see any dirt on my photos (but the lens cover is more protected compared to the Samsung). I just checked the photos made by gsmarena and you're right, it's hard to see a winner.. The C901 is perhaps slightly better for macros and probably better in dark conditions too (I'm surprised gsmarena didn't test that for the Jet).

Usage of PhotoDJ™ in C901:
Left - original / Right - PhotoDJ™ (applied Auto level only)
Overcast (fog) / Auto mode / daylight WB / EV -0.7

Overcast (fog) / Macro mode / daylight WB / EV -0.7

______________________________________________________________________________

Also a not edited pics from very intense and dynamic competition:
Flash / Macro mode / daylight WB / EV (-1) & (-0.7)
