another issue, you can't add any files under pictures in the media application as it only discovers the original files coming with the phone, can't it?, plus it doesn't organize the pics in folders even if they are sorted in folders on the MS....!! still i can't find or lunch the Picture editor except through MMS creation wizard!! |

One question... with the phone locked in your pocket, if you receive a call... can you accidentaly answer or deny the call (because of the touch screen) when pulling out the phone??? |

In the other uiq3 phones you can edit images through image gallery. And the image gallery finds files in certain folders, not all
Luxo, you can block the touch screen, together with the keyboard

And somewhere up above...expansys is probably the biggest rip off online...you can get is wayyyy cheaper elsewhere.
Can you tell me where else to buy it from at a good price, and that's a reliable retailer? Play has it at £300 to.
@ 500
I am jealous.
Can you guy's tell me, is it easier the use then the P1i? As it's supposed to be for non smart phone people I was wondering how different it is?

@apolloa
i find it easier to use than p1. its more user friendly imho. well it should be since its aimed more at mass market.
regarding prices, look here:
http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_g900-2247.php
look at the 'check prices' section. and click on those sites, most prices will be cheaper than play, but asian stock |

Does the G900 have a Blackberry Client available?
If not can anyone suggest alternates (I am open to non SE phones) that have a numeric keypad, good camera, and a touch screen.
BTW the pen supplied with the G900 rather short are there any 3rd party pens available that can fit in the same slot but extend to become about 2" longer?
sorry to repost this but I felt the beautiful photos posted might have distracted some from replying to my earlier post.
I liked the size of the G900 and I know it has email. can this email utility be configured to access email like my P990i's blackberry client? |

Guys I have been seeing the pics but havent noticed the charging/ miss call indicator light near the charging point on the P1i on G900. Can someone conform if this hardware still exists in the G series? Its one of the best feature by SE. |

Yes but the G900 doesn't have the image gallery option, all media is run through the flash Media application! |

Yes it does exist on the G900. It is a small light (green) about 1cm below the fastport. |

Can't watch any short movie I've transfered from my camera. I've modified the format from mpg to mp4 but the image is stuck on the preview.
Is there a specific format ??
Thanks |

I'm really impressed with this phone. I've had P800 (never saw the need to upgrade to P900 / 910) and then an M600.
This phone is much better than M600:
- size
- slim
- fast speed of UI & operation (M600 was so slow)
- stability (no kern exec errors yet)
- interface - the new standby application makes common tasks / key applications really simple to get to.
- usability - you hardly need the stylus. 1 handed operation is so simple.
- hardware buttons for Notes / e-mail make accessing those applications really fast
- no scroll wheel - the button in the middle makes it much simpler to scroll through long e-mails, web pages etc
- GPRS connection remains connected. For whatever reason, on M600 the active sync connection would just stop working and then you'd have to re-boot the phone to get it going again. No problems here. Push e-mail working seamlessly and switching between GPRS and WiFi has not presented any problems.
- ergonomics - the overall layout of the device feels spot on - especially for one handed operation
What don't I like:
- battery cover doesn't seem like a very snug fit.
- the speaker doesn't seem as good as previous products (seems very crackly / distorts when on calls). Of course that may just be mine.
- handwriting doesn't seem anywhere near as good as on M600 or P800. This may just be as a result of the new surface of the screen - but on both the other phones i used to able to write accurately and quickly.
All in all very impressed. I do miss the qwerty of the M600.
I think if Paris has the same UI speed and same touch interface, then that should be a great phone.

I got the phone last tuesday. IMO the UI is ok, not to slow but i don't like the current icons, and the size of the phone is great also. But don't expect much from the camera though. The pictures produced are kinda like k550i, where its like washed or has that watercolor-like finish to it.
Like the previous UIQ phones it can be hacked
*oh yeah tried to play youtube, and it was great too...
