Well I havent tested the 2.9 beta completely, but 2 things i found were that flash pictures have too much red look, especially on wooden doors and the twilight landscape mode has room for improvement. I personally like the 2 second exposure time since it gives a very detailed picture in extremely low light.

Is a good idea put SVRL™ on your 2.9, is possible?

no point i removed it from my later k550i driver also unlike the k550i the k800i can't have special modes under the effects, also please keep all 2.9 pics to 1 thread this thread thanks |

I got a few things to tell you.
When SE is releasing a new phone, do we just sit and wait for it to come out?
Hell no! We surf the net to find out what the looks and the specs are.
When a new cool movie is comming out, do we wait till it gets out on DVD?

It's number1's decision to release it or not. It's his work and we should respect that.
As for the pictures, It almost looks like the dynamic range is increased! Ofcourse that's impossible so it must be some nice tricking, non the less impressive!
Any change it would be possible to implent an EM and a supermode in the driver?
e.g
Black and White = Enhanced mode, longer exposure time always ISO 100 (lowest we can fix it at, right?)
Solarize = Allowe use to choose your own exposure time and ISO and such using EV compensation and zoom as in the K750i  We have some very good photographers here that are way better at choosing the optimal settings than the K800i can do itself with the limited light meter.

lol. Too bad the camdriver wasn't released fast enough. Ditched the K790a and got myself a K850i to try out for now. |

i was waiting quietly for number1 camdriver never thought this will happen that number1 will get pissed by other people OMG why the hell they do that! well anyway im still using 2.89 and still will wait for 2.9. hope number1 will release it coz im waiting and uses number1's camdriver ever since. thanks number1, kopritis, genus. pedrops for his great work on acoustics!!! and all other modders |

Hi all,
I am totally newbie on SE.. I hv K810i, I tried update with SETOOL 2 exactly what #1 advised.
1. save my cam driver in the zip file to ur pc
2. take out ur phone battery
3. open up setool2 lite and select ur phone model
4. use the misc box and select the "camdriver0.dat" file
5. press flash
6. put phone battery back in and plug ur phone into pc holding down C till completed.
After that I checked on >*<<*<* my camera version still in 2.5 and camera quality is the same.
And yes, i installed the driver in SETOOL > gg-setup.exe.
Anyone, please advise me what I missed out?

u can forget about EM no one knows the proper k800i shutter speed command, putting stuff on the effects like in the k550i isn't possible with the k800i it just doesn't work. |
