Here is a major bug for you:

My @ key above the camera key opens task manager. Maybe this doesn't matter but I'm not going to try other alternatives

When the camera on. I was capturing a pic then I accidently push on @button as well. I pushed and hold the button and BANG Phone restarted. I tried couple of times.

Every time you take a photo, hold the camera key and if you hold the @ key as well when you see "working" on camera mode a restart comes after that.

"The phone restarted in order to improve the performance."

I don't have that bug you mentioned. Secondly, the @ key can be configured to open a few different functions and so right now its probably configured to open task manager, (which I prefer), but you can change that under the shortcut key settings.

Ok here is the situation.

I couldn't manage to recreate the bug when I took a picture of mostly white balanced place.

But I tried on a darker place where phone constantly tries to adjust light. Same thing happened again.

...strange thing. I haven't had any problem with writing long sms or e-mail at all. Maybe it's got something to do with the charset your localisation defaults to? It's the same thing with the sms- splitting bug - I never had that either, or the timestamp problem.

Imo, write SE about it (..and then change your firmware to WG, with a language addon )

I use english by default and my FW is German. I can't use a GW and update it as I have to flash it with Davinci or another one and it is too much hassle. I'll see...

Hi all,
I’ve experienced one time a hang of my P1i, before of the updating to CXC162037 R9H004 (Phone), CXC162143 R1D (Bluetooth), CXC162108 R6E30 (Organiser), CDA162024/92 R4A (CDA) and after that didn’t happened. But now, I have automatic keylock activated and after I’ve finished a call (initiated by me) the keylock doesn’t work. I have to manual lock the keypad, and after that the keylock is automated again. At the next call the problem appears again. This is a bug, or a problem only with my phone?
Thank you.

I've checked, and the problem appears only if i make a call, and i will cancel the call before answering of the other part. When make a call, and there is answer the problem is not present, the phone will automatically lock again.

I never had this problem. Do you leave it for a minute or so after the call, so the automatic lock can kick in? The minimum time is 1 minute, you know...

Hi guys!
I have just gotten a refund on my HTC P4350 because it wasnt receiving calls on random and crashed a lot.

Now to the question, i had a P990 i was very dissatisfied with because of frequent out of memory/restarted to improve performance.

Now i really want a P1i, can i get that phone without the previosly mentioned problems today?

Cheers

I have a P1 and you can trust that reboots to improve perfmance is something from the past. I'm very happy with the P1.

The Contacts application is the major weakness I can see with this phone.

Hi
I'm not sure anyone already posted this, but I noticed a bug on the latest P1 firmware (R9J005), and probably on previous firmwares too:

When editing Contacts, if you enter a custom created Folder, and move a contact from the current Folder to another custom Folder, it copies the contact but fails to delete the contact from the current folder.

It's a bug because if you kill the Contacts application and reload it, you see that the contact is no longer on the first Folder, and was moved correctly.

The bug is serious because after moving, once you realise that the contact didn't disapear from the current folder, you tend to delete it, but then you realise (usually too late) that was also deleted from the other folder (that was copied to).
You loose the contact all together in this process.

@Lau: I had this with P990i, too.
I use the Contacts section by default and Dreamconnect when I need someting to search for.

..do you think you could write an entry in the wiki for that one?

You link does't work and I don't know what is the "wiki" thing.
Maybe you can copy-paste my post to the wiki?
