At the moment it is a very good time for anyone in the UK to buy anything from the US as we are back up to 2 dollars to 1 pound! Well there or there abouts!

Anyone had one of these from O2 UK yet? They can't upgrade me at the moment as they say they have no price plans yet, even though the phone is in stock and they have it priced for new customers.

They may be able to help me tomorrow apparently.

just had an email from O2 saying that my order has been passed through to the warehouse and will get another update soon.... the one problem is I am really not very good with waiting.... might just give them another call. Delivery still scheduled for tomorrow apparently (fingers crossed)

Can anyone comment on how well the screen performs under sunlight?

From this pic from mobilereview it seems to do alot better than the M600, to the point that it actually seems usable, not just better...

Anyone?

I put my M600 and P1 together outdoors over the weekend and to be honest I don't think there is much difference, if any.

I even cleaned up my M600 screen to match the cleanliness of the P1 (its amazing how filthy they get)

I haven't seen it mentioned, and a quick search revealed very little, so just in case anyone missed it (as I did until just now)...

TrackID is on the P1i!

its buried in the sound recorder which can be found in the Entertainment menu

I have seen incongruous comments on that subject, but most seem to agree P1 screen is more readable in direct sunlight than M600 and P990.

i second that. At first i thought it was the screen protector and grease on the screen making it hard for me to see my w950's display, but with the same brand of screen protector and same amount of grease on my P1i; it was more readable/visible in direct sunlight than my w950.

I cannot compare the screen to a m600 - but compared to my p990 the p1 screen performs way better in direct sunlight.
