For the WLAN code skip the letters and continue entering the numbers, when you get to the last number replace what ever amount of letters you skipped with ZERO. Send it via your gprs it might crash then it will send it via text. I noticed via wi-fi it took ages.
Im still stuck, where do i enter this code into?
Open Maps->Options->Extra Services->Add Navigation->Accept T+C->Select UK/REP IRELAND->ENTER LICENSE CODE.

I done this tonight and downloaded the voice templates which work like a charm when running a simulation however I still can't navigate as it keeps asking for the license code?
Do I need to pay for this extra or will the same sort of codes work for this bit?
Also I have ordered a bt gps receiver, would tomtom be a better option ?
This is the first time I have had a smart phone so I'm a bit of a newbie at this.

$1100 for an even non-touchscreen phone? Are you kidding me? What is so special in it which makes you to buy it?
I dont understand why a touchscreen would made this a better phone.
I have a W950i WITH touchscreen but i think the touchscreen make the phone worse.
Reason is simple, by adding touchscreen you make the usage harder. I can not write properly anyway using the touchscreen. I tried believe me but it only slows me down due to misstates and weird things you have to do.
With keypad, it makes the developers think a bit harder and make menus that work!
Anyway i have ordered my from Katshings and it should arrive in 2 days or so ---> me happy
Will let you guys know what i think of it when it arrives.
ps. This will be my first Nokia after hmm a few years (since the 6110 i think).

What about the GSM receiption? Are the the owners of N95 satisfied with the phone in buildings, undergroud and other vehicles? How do others hear the voice from a N95? Is the voice tuff and clear or metallic and trembling?
How is the battery:one, two or three days? |

My N95 is getting seriously played with at the moment Matteus... so the battery needs recharging at least once a day...
That said... I have had everything running too....
Bluetooth...searching for WIFI...playing with the satnav and listening to music...
To tell you the truth maybe some weeks before I settle down to normal usage before the battery will last longer than 24 hours

...and I would rather have a phone with more features (that I use) and carry a spare battery than have a less capable phone that lasted endless days
so far though I haven't found the need to buy a second battery though I do plan to get a usb cable that can charge and sync. Unfortunately you can't charge through the mini usb port so this has to be an 3rd party cable which has the single usb connector on the pc side and then splits into mini usb and charger plug on the phone side. I've seen these available on ebay

There are reports that the noise of N95 is quite hissing or buzzing. Is it true?
But the most important is that N95 keeps the connections also innerside building and vehicles such as trains etc. And how about out of cities? Is the antenna perfect on countryside? |

It works for the 1st time, then stops, and if i restart the phone it will do the same, work for the 1st time then stop. Ill try and delete it and do it again.
Any solution for your problem yet? I experience the same problem, but it was working fine at the Lounge at Bangkok Airport last night....but not in my house in Thailand...and not in my home in Norway. (I am using Linksys WRT54G at both places)
It looks now that the Linksys is not very "compatible" with Nokia WLAN. I logon to some neighbor, and he use SpeedTouch WLAN router...and it works fine. And I hear that Belkin is OK too. So either the "setup" of standard Linksys setting are wrong, or I need to buy a new WLAN router. If someone find out more, please let me know. I have no problems connecting to my Linksys WRT54GS with my N95 (with WEP security).

It`s working!!!!! (I did as you told me, but I had to insert all the data manually in the WLAN settings on the phone. (Such as: IP addresses, Gateway, Subnet mask, DNS servers)
THANKS!

I must give credit were due and firstly thanks to Voda_Jon for recommending a really good VOIP service. I originally started with Gizmo Project but that really was touch and go sometimes the calls would just hang or it would freeze all three of my N95's...basically problem after problem.
I then signed up to VOIPSTUNT and within seconds of placing a call it was ringing plus it offers free calls to landlines around the world. I even thought il try it via 3G and not a problem same instant connection and brilliant sound clarity. I would highly recommend this service to anyone wanting to utilize VOIP.
