How much did you pay for your K750? |

I was lucky and found my new and boxed (with everything) black K750i on Ebay 'Buy It Now' for only £140! It was being sold as it was an unwanted upgrade. I woz well chuffed cuz most of um which were around this price had scratches and had branded housing on.
It cost £147 Including delivery- but the seller was real nice to send by Next Day Delivery even though i only paid for 1st Class Recorded 1-3 days delivery. I got it the next day at 7am, just in time for me to charge it a bit, transfer an MP3 and phonebook contacts via infra-red from my old fone to take it to college the same day. When i opened the box i got so excited i kept shaking and rushing and it took me a while to put the SIM and battery in! (I've been wanting this phone for 6 months! ).
If you want to get a similar deal as i did on Ebay, you have to act fast. My k750i was listed at night at around 11pm and i bought it at 2am. The previous night (at around the same time- i find it hard to sleep!) i found a newly listed k750i (same as mine) for £150 'Buy It Now'- i was about to click 'buy' until only about 30 seconds later from being listed it was bought!!! I guess having a broadband connection would help ! (That's all the tips i have )
I can see myself holding onto this phone for a while (that is until W900i's go down in price!- which won't be any time soon! Arn't i bad!) Nah, this fone is gr8! And i won't get board of it for a long while yet!

I really can not believe people pay for phones like this.
Sure if you want the latest phone then you pay for it...but k750i is not exactly new anymore.
My phone was free from O2 just like my k700i was free and just like my w900i will be free. Contracts are great |

Then again it's not really the case of 'how new the phone is' or whether it's 'the latest', but what technologies it offers compared to other phones that are available on the market today. The actual features of the K750i are still unbeaten (not many phones today even though it is becoming 'old', have a 2MP with autofocus, a fully functional MP3 player, video playback etc, so in that respect it could be seen as still being new. For example, the K750i is older than the Samsung E720 which is newer (i think), but the K750i still costs more and should do because it offers more compared to the E720.
But say if most phones today had a new version of Bluetooth that transfered say 10x faster and the K750i was still at the same price and priced higher that would be ridiculous and buyer shouldn't pay the amount they are paying today.
The fact is that the K750i isn't the latest, but it's still one of the best compared to newer phones on the market and is worth paying £140-£200 for.

It also really depends on what country you live in, and which carrier you use. Over here in Canada, the K750i isn't even listed as official SE product, and the people at Rogers (my carrier) don't even know what the K750i is.
Similar models STILL cost 4-500 CDN, even WITH a 3 yr contract.
Having people in mass numbers purposely NOT buy technology just to bring the price down doesn't work. It's only when people buy in bulk (huge markets) and technology improves, that prices for item X drop.
Anyway, I'm still happy with my K750i. It's a treat.
