4) Does voice answering work for the the K750i? It used to work on my T610 but not on my K700i.
I got voice dialing to work really well on my T610. I've set up some voice tags in my K750i but have not yet succeeded once in dialling by voice, using my Bluetooth handsfree. I intend to do some more work on it. I note that S-E have changed to voice dialling between the T610 and the K750i. Previously one had to record voice tags for the three types of phone: 'home', 'work' and 'mobile' and then name tags for the contacts. Now there are no type tags. When voice dialling works it is very useful in the car.
I have a theory that one has the best chance of voice dialling working well by recording the voice tags using the same microphone that one will use to voice dial. With my previous phones it has been possible to record voice tags using a wired handsfree, but not by using a Bluetooth handsfree. I received just today my wired handsfree for my K750i, so I'll try this evening to create voice tags using my new wired handsfree. |

Just got 2 sets of K750i (AP) yesterday. Black for myself and Silver for my wife. Mine has R1L002 HongKong while my wife's is R1J001 or R1J002 (China). Which is the latest firmware? I should think R1L is the latest for obvious reasons, but from experience, all my old SE phones(original SE) have China firmwares, but my K750i is HongKong. What's the difference? I'm in Malaysia BTW.
Anyway, I've found a bug... for certain contacts, after I set the user ringtone, it just refuses to appear at all. Instead, the space is empty, as if I didn't set any user ringtone. But so far, the correct ringtone still play
and yeah, I prefer the voice dialling implementation on the T610 as well... |

I just upgraded from the K700i, and basically the K750 is the same, except better
Beter camera, better memory (thru expansion), BETTER keypad, 10,000 times better joystick, faster menu, usb flashdrive (once driver installed, grr), better screen, better camera ergonomics, better wrist strap mount.
The only things not good: it's slightly bigger (but my t610 case fits almost perfectly), and you can't shut off the cam sound (please please don't rant and rave - some people have legitimate reasons for not wanting the cam sound all the time ) |

Hello,
I compared my friends' k500i and k700i screen sizes and I noticed that k500i has a bigger screen (in terms of inches) then k700i. Does anyone have an idea about whether k750i screen size is same as k700i or k500i? |

O2 have offered me a free K750i to replace my K700i in return for an extended 12 month contract? Do you guys reckon that's a good deal?

is it me or the animated icons on the K750 are much slower/jerked than the smooth nice animated icons of the K700?
Moreover, there aren't much nice thems for the K750 yet? |

I totally agree with you. The K700's animated menu was cooler. K750 icons have an exaggerated shadow in my opinion.
Still awaiting for some decent themes. K750 does offer the choice to extend the wallpaper to the whole display, though. |
