NAh!
I don't think it will be out that fast!
You should know how SE works!

The fastest time that it will come out maybe this fall! Not so soon!
Just save a couple more money and whne you have enough, it will be out!

Well ppl, i think this phone is for Nokia kinda ppl, who DROOOL over ringtones, and changable faceplates and looks. Though changable faceplates come in handy cuz you can scratch your fone all u want and then make it look as good as new with a new faceplate, i still think Sony ericsson is all about functionality. I think every on here love their fones cuz they have these hundreds (ok i am exagerating) of tiny features which the nokia OS cant even dream of having! i mean, the delete all button in the sms inbox is one of the LATEST features in the nokia fones!! hehe. The point i am trying to make is that the t300 sux. Primarily cuz its not got Bluetooth. I think if anyone wants a high functionality, feature rich fone and dont wanna shell out nuff for the t68i, you should go buy a t39 and NOT a t300. Oh well, i am of course happy with my most superoir t68i

And oh yeah, MIDI ringtones?? yuck!! well which science fiction movie have u guys seen where the hero brings out his high tech communication device/gadget and instead of giving techie beeps and blips it plays a musical midi tone??? get real guys... wanna listen to music buy am MP3 player ... dont make your phone sound like you are playing prince on a PC XT !!!!

hey! Who says the T300 desgin (in terms of changable thingy) is of no originality! They are sticking with their old ways ( just look at the GA 628) , they are just chaging the panel, not the cover!

Also the T300 is meant to promote MMS and colour phones to the public at a cheaper price! They are just targeting low end users and not for those with the T68/T68i! There is no point in Downgrading for T68 users but an upgrade for people with low end phones.

Talk about bluetooth, have u often use it? If yes, then heck care about it!

And about the ploy ringtones , it isn't midi!
Have you ever hear a Sumsung phone's ploy ringtone?
It so beautiful, and definately better than the Imelody or other normal ringtones!

IT is also made in Malaysia so as to keep the production cost down!

Its good to also know that there are some balance between the T300 and the T68i!

The T68i users are happy with their phones but to satisfy the T300 buyers, poly ringtones were included and cheap price was set to make up for the loss in terms of bluetooth.

Wat do u mean it isnt midi??? well i guess u do a little homework then, infact, if i am not mistaken, the t300 has 32 "voices" or wave tables, which is FAR lower than the midi we get on the computer. and well yeah its my personal opinion that musical ringtones are a stupid concept, but well thats just my personal bias. Yeah and ofcourse a colour display is really a huge benifit. But then, everyone who use bluetooth absolutely cant live without it. ... so well if u really dont wanna compromise on anything get a REAL t68i !!

There's only one reason to buy it if you already own a t68i, and that's the games. They are GREAT! The prototype I had borrowed had 11 games installed, among wich the miniature golf game was the best. Playing an 18-hole round with a friend, is one of the best ways there is to make time fly (for an hour or so).
Nothing much to the polyphonic ring tones I think. First of all you can't compose your own. The whole function is kind of useless, since the maximum volume is so low, I couldn't even hear the phone ringing while being in my pocket (outdoors that is).
Except for the games, ringtones and lack of bluetooth and calendar, the T300 seems to be the same phone as T68i.
And by the way...it IS ugly, even being held in your hand...

Oops..seems I was wrong about the calendar, according to
http://www.mobile-review.com/review/sonyericsson-t300e.shtml.
As I said, it was a prototype.

without bluetooth mean you less one way to upload your so call wonderful polyphonic ringing tone. The polyphonic ringtone file size should be much more larger then i-melody which mean you spend more on wap or gprs. Only infra red provide slow and cheap solution to upload both ringing tone, picture and screen savers.
Do you all think of this before ?

Elite, can you please tell us what were those 11 games you saw? Were there any of the ones listed on www.mophun.com under 'Games&Fun' (click on 'submissions' too)?
