If you actually bothered to read my post, you'll see that I mention that it's advertised as O2 PAYG @ £249.99 but you get the sim-free stock as O2 branded ones are not available to CPW yet.
Also have you actually bothered to look into CPW's latest June pricelist/magazine which lists the price?
Next time, read & research before you write!

Hey, where did you get that info from? Did you actually see the offer in a CPW or just in the magazine?
I just phoned CPW up:
Me: Are you selling the SE K750i on PAYG?
CPW: No I'm afraid not, although we do have it SIM Free
Me: How much is it SIM Free?
CPW: £299.99
Me: Will you have the K750i on PAYG in the future
CPW: Not sure.
Hmm, so it looks like its just SIM Free.

Just seen it for £239.99 on the Virgin website, but you also get £30 of calls, so your getting the phone for £209.99 and postage and packing is free. |

I have had several from Virgin, some have a little Virgin logo and some don't on the front. They are generally not as bad as the rest. Customer service is great. I think I got that price because I was logged into there website and it was £10 cheaper. |

Hmmmm this sounds very tempting....
I'm new to the whole uprgadeable firmware thing, but from what I've read, would the following be possible ?
Use DaVinci thing to unbrand and unlock the Virgin phone, then use SE firmware updater to get latest firmware once I have unbranded the phone, and then whack my PAYG O2 SIM in it?
Would that be possible?
EDIT
Also this link shows the K750i for £249.99 with a 25% discount bringing it to £187.49 (which would be a v.gd deal, even if the phone is branded), but when you add it to your basket, it still comes up as £249.99............am I missing something ?

EDIT 2
Bah! That link seemed to change when I refreshed it, now it just offers it at £249.99 with the £35 airtime thing.

So it would seem that the sim-free phone from C-Device is still the best way to go for £235!!! |

i didnt feel like forking out £235 for it since i bought an ngage and gps the weekend before so i got it on contract on o2 from cpw.
£29.99 for the phone
£20 a month for 12 months contract
works out to £269.99.
the best thing is i took an old old nokia and got £30 trade in for it!
then i decided to ask about assessories and a discount. 10% off! not bad so i got a hbh-600. so with the tride in it cost me £23.99. not bad at all considering the marked price was £69.99!!
anyone wanna buy a white v/z800i?

stupid heads at orange decided to charge me £250 + vat for my 'free' upgrade... (comes to about £295) so you can guess what I said when my options were:
"well sir, you can pay for it as stated on your bill and have the difference off next bill, or you can contest the charges and have the debit stopped by your bank"...
gee, I wonder which one I chose.
utter f-ing mess tbh. does this class as breach of contract by orange? wonder if I could wangle a load of freebies out of them. |

The above site is offering the phone on O2 talkalot PAYG for £199! with free delivery! Seems a bit too good to be true though. What do you guys think?
Also how are O2 on locking/customising these days? My S700i was completely unbranded on contract when I got it about 10 months ago. |

It sounds great apart from this:
† These charges will be included in your first and subsequent network bills. Please note that it is customary for you to be charged two months line rental in the first month. (PAYG VOUCHERS!)
‡ This is a 1 off charge. If this is a pay-as-you-go tariff the connection fee will be charged to your credit/debit card in addition to the Grand Total below
So I wonder just how much it WILL come to. |
