my t230 cant download the 50kB games off the sony ericsson website.... gets half way but then has the same error as the guy in the fist post. I am on optus in australia.
Maybe just GPRS conjestion? |

Ok . . Half way is not a problem . . . Its only the network traffic issue . . . Give it a try when you are having full speed in your mobile . . It will work  |

Can't download on any given day or at specific times? Specific times implies network congestion. Any given time implies one of two things- network is limiting download size (the call centre guys won't admit to it) or something wrong with the phone.
But the way the error goes, it is more of a communication error than a request too large type error..tilted more towards the network..
Does it matter if I don't have a signature?  T310 > T610 |

come to think of it..i have downloaded animated themes for my k700 which are well over 100 kb..200+ at times, with no issues..i also downloaded the opera browser , around 1mb on my p800 recently...never faced a hitch, strange..

You guys are really lucky to download more than 1mb. . So far not managed more than 306 kb . . . Told you earlier . . . But no issues for lesser files with me . . . It works smoothly . . I am still trying |

I did now . . . They said there is some thing to do with the phone . . Or keep trying . . ( Witch i have been doing many times ) . .

Email the service provider at care@hutchindia.com. Call Centre guys don't know a thing about GPRS and its working.

Do not be  if you're on Hutch. Though not the best, it still is one of the better GPRS service providers in India.
