Wouldnt be a huge amount at all, tins of paint arent hugely expensive, lacquer about the same and maybe a few quid for my time! If anyone wants one doing, send me the part and some cash!! I reckon I could do the lot for a tenner! |

sorry mate but i didnt ask. id expect its only silver. if you want the actual housing in the centre (with the imei sticker on) i think he said it would be £70 as this needs to be verified with o2 etc etc but that isnt going to be necessary unless u have managed to scratch that lol!

Hi everybody, i scored a black S700i housing from that german dude (Kravat on ebay) and it looks pretty sweet. Dont think it will stand up to being dropped though. feels pretty flimsy when its not been put on the phone. If i drop it im scared it will explode into a thousand pieces. I did see somebody selling them in the uk (ebay) for £20 each but went with the german guy cos his were £9.00 (14E).
They come in Blue, Red, Black and the original Silver i think.
Ill stick some photos on when ive finished tearing the original case off so you can judge for yourselves.
Trust me, it looks easier than it is.
Could really do with a PDF on how to dismantle the damn thing.

Thanks OuchOuch. Thats good news. I would expect them to be flimsy when not on the chassis. Can you compare them when they are both off the phone and post any comments. |

My local Carphone Warehouse (with a SE Service Point) said that it would cost around £50 to replace the housing, not cheap but will do. |
