Had mine for a few days now and I love it. If it had a memory stick slot it would make an already amazing phone even better.

Mmm...But you could always just transfer the things onto a Bluetooth USB memory stick..

The only time I have had to take a few unneccessary items off my k700 was when I put a 20 + meg simpsons episode on the phone (and I still had room to spare other than that the memory seems to be more than adequate, I have 65 ringtones installed, a couple of vids, plenty of pictures, 35 odd games files, extra hid files, .jar applications and 200 odd contacts in my phone book. The memory for me isn't really an issue.

K700= a very useable and stylish piece of kit !!!!

You basically know it's good features and also its flaws so I would advice you not to expect too much. That's actually the reason why some K700i users ended up disappointed because they expected a miracle when they buy it.

I would have a sniper shoot you in the butt if later on you'll start a thread titled "K700i Haters Club"
resistance is futile.

Got a K700i this month.

LIKE: (1) camera zoom (2) radio and MP3, yeah when bored (3) flash and photo effects (4) photo thumbnail for SMS and calls

DON'T LIKE: (1) Can't password protect (or hide) the albums (2) data transfer needs separate gadget (they could've at least included a USB, hehehe) (3) memory not expandable.

had my k700i since the start of september excellent phone, only bought it cuz i dont like the nokia 6230 and the k700i was my only other choose, it does the job well, ive found it can take a good battering, mine gets treated like crap and it still works its got a excellent screen looks good camera is pretty good for VGA only 2 problems i have are:

1. the rubber charger cover does not fit properly anymore cuz i have to charge is every other day cuz of heavy usage

2.the joystick can sometimes not work when i try and go down! just have to leave it a couple of sec's and its all fine again,

overal i very good buy i was so pleased with it i brought a s700i as well which i DO look after and is even better! and the charger cover attualy fits!

It's a great phone in its class. Just try not to compare it with high-end phones; and also don't expect it to last forever as with anything -- new and better models are always expected to come out.
resistance is futile.

I have had mine for almost 25 days now and I love it. It was a brand new K700i (Hong Kong version), more like the K700c. It came with the R2AA003 and I used SEUS to update it to R2AE033. However, it kinda sucked being more like the K700c and did not have a few menus that other versions have. I finally ended up flashing it with the R2AE033 & US1 language pack with the help of www.davinciteam.com. I feel much better now that I see a coupla extras on it as well as the multi-charecter search! I am loving it!
