My name is Dennis. I have this posted on another forum hope u can give me some input regarding this
Anyways, i bought my cellphone with the older firmware than R2B, its something like R2A. I bought it from USA.
Now, many people here have said that they upgraded to R2E and got their memory larger than before.
Besides the software upgrade, I am looking at getting some of minor problems of my phone
- sometimes it shuts off for no apparent reason
- the button # on the keypad is a little hard to press now, perhaps because of dropping it a few times
As well, it has some minor defects on the casing from being dropped.
If I bring this to Smartnet, I am expecting they would honor my international warranty, I have the receipt of the phone.
If I wanted to have the casing changed, would Smartnet do it? I can pay extra if they would ask me. I am not sure either if you have some T68 casings available. Thanks sir |

@berry, sorry for the incovenience but im sure on your next visit it wont happen again coz were moving at our new office (makati buendia) before end of july with ample of parking space at the back of the building.

@G_M i have an R520m with fw r3a022. so far it has stable gprs connection, none of the hangings or resets. Would you recommend that i upgrade to the latest firmware that is r4a008? So far i dunno what is the so-called SMS id bug? Is it because when somebody (with 2 mobile nos stored in my phonebook) text me, the sms doesn't show which of the 2 mobile nos did he used to send it to? need clarification.

I went to Smartnet kasi last Saturday pero hanggang 12noon lang pala kayo pag Saturday. I am trying now to see if i can escape the office to go there on a regular day.

why is it so hard to call smartnet? i heard 1 of your customer last month when i had my fon upgraded,she was complaining that she cant get through your lines and got dissappointed when she found out that the she has to wait for another week for the repair.
baka you have call center requirements? pm me lang, maybe i could be of help...
