An article in the Express newspaper (uk) stated that all the networks are preparing to 'heavily' subsidise the next generation of camera phones to revive the publics waning interest in mobile phones, which will bring prices down to between 150 - 220 gbp (presumably on a contract).

Hope this is true. A p800 for 200 quid!

Ah.. everyone, read the review above! A greatly written piece. And you know what, he stated the only downside of the P800: "The one downside of this product that I can see right away is the lack of any add on storage."

And that's fixed now with MS Duo!! Even the critical expert reviewers are convinced! After T68, hits the jackpot again and creates yet another perfect mobile phone!

not waiting for that, i carry 2 phones and thats a little larger than i'm prepared to go.

any new phone i get will be similiar size to my current phones.

predecessors include:
8850 & 8890 (perfect combination as only one of lines roamed abroad anyway)

8210(good while it lasted inbetween replacements) & T28(piece of crap between just as many replacements as 8210 due to continuous faulty power unit...but great battery life with the extra large battery...easily lasted a week when i went abroad)

6150(close to perfection for the time...only got outdone when all other handsets downsized)

various bricks before that of course...P800...no return to brick phones for me.

The display is 16-bit, 4096 colors but the symbian SW does only support 12-bit colors, so you could download JAVA-apps. and use the 16-bit

I´ve already pre-ordered one here in Sweden. I hope it will come soon, I think in end of August. You?

Many are waiting for P800 here in Asia which is supposed to be released August, 2002 at about US$480 to US$500. My brother is also waiting for P800 after seeing the Nokia 7650 demo here. We will most probably get the P800 if the promised features come out ok.
