Strange that the original batt has 770 mah, not 800 or 700. Once batts had 'round' mah like 500, 1200 etc. Think they fill them and measure later the power. Maybe.

I guess it's maxed out. That's all they can put in that sleak, slim form of a battery.

So sorry to hear you're giving up on it, so finally the 1000mh performance wasn't as good as original 770mh?

I made a test. The orig 770 mah batt lasts 2 days long if no calls and 4h surfing with gprs ( in auto mode )

The mAh indication of a battery is an indication of its capacity, despite its constructive technology (LiIon, LiPol, NiMh etc). So, the bigger, the better.
BUT some non-original batteries are over-rated (maybe noone cares to check their stickers to persuade the producers to display their real capacity)
Same thing happened to me long time ago, when I bought a very slim battery for my Nokia 6110 (it also had vibration!). Half the depth of the original one, it was rated 1.300 mAh !!! I kept using it just because of its vibration, but the stand-by and talk times were worse than those of its original battery.
As the capacity of the battery cannot be directly measured, I guess you must always be suspicious when you find standard-sized (or even under-sized) batteries with greater-than-standard capacity, from third-party suppliers. |

I'd buy it but here i just found an original one for 10 euros. So it's cheap anyway.
