welcome to the world of SE. me, i bought the S65 because i like it and didnt experience any bugs for now....i hope. battery last for 72hours on normal usage...more text less call, lots of playing...im in Asia. the feel of S65 is very similar with T630 when holding but a little taller and thicker. |

Well the S65 plays wave files, you can use these for ringtones, or any alert. I never use my P900 as a music player, I like mp3 ringtones, so surely it would just be a case of converting to wave file and edit accordingly for ringtones on the S65. I'm getting 1 on tuesday, still keeping my P900, T630 and my wife user a K700. I'm an SE and siemens fan. Having tried both phones I like them both. I still have my Siemens sl45i for mp3s anyway! Got a Siemens sl55 so as you can see I'm a big fan of both makes.

Siemens has always been the next brand I look at when I cant find what I need at SE. The S65 caught my fancy when first announced. Shame though its not a symbian smartphone.

About the price "S65 slightly cheaper"..
This is not correct.
Not in Sweden anyways
K700i has dropped +40% in price due to it's success.
It's now going for 2700SEK and S65 is at 3040SEK.
2700SEK is about 302€, calculated with 100SEK=8.95€

Here in the uk they are similarly priced, i was offered the S65 or K700i as free upgrades on my contract. I went for the S65 as it supports email attachments and the K700 doesn't. My wife doesn't bother much with email so is more than happy with her K700 which is a great little phone. If it allowed email attachments to be downloaded i would've probably got 1 myself. I'll post tonight what i find with the S65 anyway.

@JohnM
Ehh What the heck do you mean by "not supporting attachments"?
I just attached two files to an email just to test.

Well i haven't been able to receive attachments when using my wifes k700i. @missuk sorry, no datacable supplied with standard kit. The RSMMC with its adapter come in a rather snazzy clear plastic case! ;-) Anyways its still having a nice charge so will get back to you guys what i think to it.
