According to the sales slip I got it Dec. 12, 2003. That was before they were officially available in the US so I am glad they didn't give me any crap about having a UK version, but I don't think there is any difference between the two anyway.

I am happy to report that the firmware flash they performed came prepackaged with the American English language pack. Although I know it isn't necessary, it is nice that I don't have to install it manually.

EDIT: By the way, where is Raccoon City?

Raccoon City is an imaginary city in the video game Resident Evil.

Been told that I should have my second replacement in 2 weeks time. That was last Tuesday. 1 week left to go which will make it nearly 4 months without my P900.

Gonna sell both my P900 and K700 when and buy either a Siemens SL65 or Samsung E800 next. Was considering buying an S700 but dont think I'll bother.

I've decided the same... SE makes VERY nice stuff, but it almost isn't worth the headaches that accompany their products. Customer support is just shitty!

Ready for collection? What do they mean by that?

I gotta go pick it up. The service centre is 15 miles away from my house and I work not far from there.

Have just got back and I have my P900 this time Apparently they had to replace the main board in it. Seems to be working fine now.

They lost the retractable stylus and screen protector. I complained and they're going to supply me with new ones. They also forgot to remove their MS Duo card from my phone so I've now gained another memory card.

I got a brand new P900 back the day before yesterday. Still the same feature was missing. After an update and restore I finally could get it to work as it should. I finally have a great working P900 again.
