Has anyone seen the k700 in a mainstream telstra, optus or vodafone shop? Only the smaller guys seem to be selling them.

Give it another week or two and it should be out in telstra and optus shops from what ive heard. This should drop prices a bit and maybe we might see a zero dollar plan till then we just have to keep waiting and waiting.

Phone Zone are selling the k700i for $929 and taking advantage of people because they are one of the only stores that stock them, way to much I think.

Holy crap!

You can pick up a k700 in some of the smaller stores for $670-$700.

$900+ is just silly – I think the Sony RRP is about AU$789

Does anyone know how they decide wether a phone goes on a zero doller plan or not?
I want to know because I dont want to get the phone on a MRO (mobile repayment option) if its gonna go to a zero plan within a couple of weeks.

We all know there nothing wrong buying from the smaller guys but as u can see until the big guys come in the smaller guys take advantage and try to sell the phone at redicules prices. http://www.fonezone.com.au/de[....]p=20131&phoneid=146&priceid=94

Thats not everone though.

Also the "big guys" provide more compition with each other and force each other to lower their phones.

I am based selling out of a Kiosk in a popular shopping centre.

Majority of my customers compliment my service and comment that the other Planet Vodafone store wasn't very helpful.

Just in case you wanted to know:- Vodafone's new call cap plan's that come out Aug 2nd are incredilbly aggressive. In fact, it's the best call plan i have ever seen.

Any chance u can tell us a bit about the plan, Telstra offerd to let me upgrade for $175 (12 months left on T610) but I will change if i think its worth it.

P.S Morley galleria is the only one I can think of with a small vodaphone kiosk.
