I've hardly had my downhill skis on for the last 6 years.
After my oldes son was born the priority has been to teach him cross country as a start. He is quite good at that now so this winter he's going to get wacked down the slopes with a pair of slalom skis on

For me, it started at the age of 15.
I got my firs pair of slalom skis when I went to a boarding school in Telemark here in Norway.
Shortly after I started doing Off Piste. Great fun!
Behind the school there was a mountain and one of the seniors at the school had a pick-up truck that he loaded up with skis and people and drove us up to the top. It took us 3-4 houres to get back down to the school.

Tried Free Style skiing as well but a dislocated shoulder scared me off that.

I got my eyes up for Speed Skiing when I was around 20.
Started off easy and increased my speeds gradually.
After a scary fall (only at about 100km/h) I decided to go back to off pist wich I kept doing till, as mentioned, 6 years ago.

I can't wait to get back in to it!
Would have been fun to try Speed Skiing again as well after all these years.

Wanna join me in New Zealand next winter?

This summer i've invested in the most extrem sport.... Used all my Savings and and got my self a brand new boat a Glastron MX with a 3 l. Volvo. A kneeboard and a wakeboard plus 2 Tubes. Have to say this must be one of the most extrem sport. At least the cost of it. I pay about 15€ per. hour in gas alone. (Denmark) And now i don't have mommy for gas :-(
