You bought the best SE phone there currently is, the P900 (unless your avatar lies) which needs memory more than the S700 would..

Thats being a little hypocritical, no ?

I had a read of the S700 white paper this morning and it also mentions that the S700 will only come with a 16mb duo... I dunno why they bother at all, its the same with cameras, they included a 32mb duo with my 5MP camera, pathetic, I would rather them just reduce the price a few dollars/euros etc as I am only going to go out and buy a larger one anyway, as most people probably will

It is still possible, that the White Paper lies, or just isn't very accurate yet. Just look for the AAC codec in the most of the white papers. But as we know T610 doesn't comply with AAC. So my point is to wait and see.

I'm really baffled too and I also think this is a dumb moove by Sony.

First I'm getting the K700;and I'm sure MP3s will be nice on that but not enough.

But I really cannot wait for the S700 this baby is gonna be Hype!

I'm gonna use it as my cellphone, work schedule planner, date planner, MP3 player & MP4 Video/Audio player (thank you Apple with the partnership and Mp4 codec support in Quicktime), and this is gonna be THE ONLY Device I would want to carry

This memory is a BIG concern, and if Duo's aren't available in Canada by this time, then I'm sorry folks I'm gonna stay with the K700; but for scheduling and multi-media the Mpx is in the runner up......unless of course a successor to the P900 is announced.

@masseur: Oh, well, they can't just provide an empty place in the phone so they put a16mb card in it..i wonder why not 8M..it's cheaper
