Yeah I know what u mean boyi.
Cause its unfair the P900 can beat the T610 but the T610 has compact more cramped themes. So its nicer.
I dont know what the hell they want from us.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say it is unfair?
The purpouse of the competition of the Official Esato Theme is that is to be the Official Esato Theme. There by we see it suited that it is suitable for all  phones that can use themes.
Is it unfair that everyone can use the theme or is it unfair that the creator of the winning theme are asked to make it suitable for all phones?

Sorry for not making it clear. But by Unfair I mean that people who create themese for Px00 may have the upper hand of the people Making Z,T,K Themes.
If you get my drift.

Yes they are. I see the point though. The K700 themes are much easier to get exactly as you want them to be as you can use transparent highlights...
I think it's just for the voters to thjink about how the themes may become on the other phones when voting.
If for example I make a K700 and boyi makes a P900 theme then you voters can imagine how the themes would look on the different phones.

In the first instance; yes I agree. But those who choose to make an entry here with a P900 theme are actually making it difficult for themselves later. Keep in mind that the winner has to recreate the theme to suit all theme phones.
So; it's easier to make a theme for, say the T610, and recreate that to suit a P900 than the other way around.

But it would be very hard to change a say T610 theme to a T68i/T300 theme 'cos of the colours.

It make sense to list seperate catagories for each handset type. T68/i, T/Z6*0 and P8/900.

Yeah,winners will then just have to resize the images from the winning theme to suit the other phones(plus a few additions),not a hard job to do although i've never made a p900 theme :-l :-D

Having had to resize themes and match them to other phones more than once I guarantee you that it's not as simple as it sounds..... and it's usually easier to start with many images (like on a P9) and 'cut' some out when rearranging it for other models, than having to add new ones to it...as I would think you don't want the EXACT same bg on every page on your P900..... it will require a lot more creativity and inventivity on the winner's part to make it happen that way around.
But then again... the winner will be a skilled enough individual anyway

I think it'll solve it self later on. Anybody started yet? I'm working on an esato theme now. Does the logo have to be in it?
