i am using T630. if i am not wrong, none has done it on a T630 yet, but this is strange, coz i thought T630 is just a T610 with TFT.. |

god that's the oldest firmware around?
hopefully that's not the reason why we can't connect coz all T630 have R4C and above =( |

jamshedd,
bruhaha, I have so much ip addresses if I type ipconfig, that is makes me cry. I have two Ethernet local connection with two different ip addresses, and I also have 2 different ip addresses stated in the ppp adapter section.
Which one to use? |

Try using the IP address for the ethernet adapter. If you have more than 1, then try one at a time (use the lower number first).
The PPP adapters are your dialup connection to your ISP etc. Those are generally not to be used. If you're feeling adventurous, try those too

@jamshedd:
Everything went OK on my K700 except for the last step where I was trying to use WebViewer. There has been a series of error messages like "BSD[1] - BsdServerSocket.run() - Wait for tcpConnection to be true" in the log and WebViewer didn't work. I am pretty sure that I have set the internet profiles and everything right.
My PC connects to the Internet thru proxy servers. Is it because the ConnectionProxy program does not support HTTP proxy?
Many thanks in advance. |

I'm not really sure, but I guess you might be right about that. |

My PC is connected thru a proxy server too but it worked ok for me on K700.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !! |

Thanks Jamshedd. This works perfectly fine.
But I wonder why and who'd want to connect via phone. Anyone? I myself wanted to do this, but Just Wondering. |

As for myself, I've been developing MIDlets (java apps for the cell phone) which invoke a servlet running on my PC. I definitely do not want to make AT&T richer while I develop |
