even though i own a t68i, i definitely understand you all of t68/t68m owners.
that's an unkindly and unacceptable manner from SE.
They should always remind that "customer is in control!"

Customer Service really sucks!!
They cant treat us this way. Oki I returned my T68m and bought a T68i but still I dont like them - now I just got a phone that works as it should with all the features I paid for (twice)

Hey Jay
Nope i won't go to nokia. I will go back to Siemens, at least with siemens, you can download and do the upgrade yourself. As i did with my sl45, upgraded that to sl45i. |

i was told by CPW that they do have the upgrade that was mentioned in their catalogue. My phone has been away with them for the past 2 weeks and it should be coming back 2day with new S/W! hopefully! will keep all updated! |

| 1, they posted on their website Week21 for t68m upgrade. As I understand it we are in Week21 but yet they have having issues with releasing a software update. |
|
yes we are in week21, and week21 lasts until saturday... they dont have to release it right at the begining do they. And we have heard it is out in some places. Maybe companies are having trouble downloading the software off the server. dont blame

I am 99% confident that SE will release the upgrade in week 21! As in the past they have upwardly revised dates from 20 to 21 for example and information on their site remains rigid for week 21. So in a few days we will have the upgrade!
Back to currency hedging LOL! I have $180,000,000 to play with, none of it mine, of course! |

"dont blame SE"
Then whose fault is it, the SC, (dont think so, if there are problems downloading it by most SC's, it can only be caused by the people who put it there - SE)
that only leaves the customer - so I suppose it is the customers fault for wanting what was advertised almost 8 months ago and put up with untold lies about the release.
YES- BLAME SE, THEY AND ONLY THEY ARE TO BLAME, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LYING, INCOMPETANT SWINE.
IF MY PHONE IS NOT UPGRADED BY FRIDAY, IT WILL BE THE LAST SE PRODUCT I BUY. |

Could it be that they only have some of the languish packages ready on EMMA 2 and that is what´s holding back the release in some countries? To my understanding you should be able to access all files on EMMA 2 if you have the rigth equipment. Or is it possible to allow restricted access to the server depending on the IP of the client?

no problem of putting restrictions on what you can see on the server... each servicpoint have the blackbox with the servicecard, when contacting the server it checks the card id, so it's just for to only allow certain id numbers access to the upgrade. |

I saw that the SE guy, Alksten, did not know why the sw is out in Denmark and not in Sweden!?!? But he was convinced it would be availble in Sweden "in the coming weeks"...???
If you can restrict by using the sevice card ID what would be the reason?
marketing issues?
special network issues?
load distribution over time (emma2)?
I can not see the real reason for delaying the sw in Sweden compared to Norway and Denmark.
Anyway I am happy for all good friends in Norway and Denmark!
Please set up an ESATO support center close to a SP in one of those countries and we can start putting DHL to work. Then we will all have our upgrade this week..
Cheers!!! |

Barky is now between 2 trains, going to see if the upgrade is "real" hope he will come back with good news!
I am ready to wait more weeks but the most important thing was to know if SE would really release it in a hole country and not for few friends.Perhaps Danemark is a TEST country

Maybe I was not that wrong anyway, the upgrade could be out on Greenland (belongs to Denmark) and possibly Svalbard (Norway)... ..
