Absolutely an amazing program, I live in Norway and it works(fortunately I have freee GPRS all month cose it would cost very much) Is it possible to see other channels? like NRK(a norwegian channel which is possible to stream over internet)(adress to nrk: http://www.nrk.no, just press the "nett-tv" on the menu to the left to get the tv menu, would it be possible to watch some of that on the phone?)
Thanks to ginty, n.evil and the "px00media team" for hosting my videos. |

Why doesn't anybody make a GPRS stream radio player instead of trying a 5 fps TV? Technically it should be simplier and work better. |

I actually posted a thread about this yesterday. UnrealPlayer's makers Pocket Torch has one in the pipeline. Suppose to work like RealPlayer... I've been trying to get something going similar to that using the built in OEM player though. I think I'm close. Hopefully we see a release soon.

I just downloaded the program today. Very interesting but is there anyway to watch local channels? I'm in North Carolina and would love to see something in english. Does anyone know how to do that? Anyone have addresses to sites that will work with fondo player?

@MSA
If anyone wants to utilize their home broadband then it's probably more feasible to just view it on a PC because the phone will be tethered to the PC any way.
I am trying to get something streaming soon. I'm trying to toy around with this mobile streaming server software that I got my hands on. Right now I'm simply only going to try to stream audio. As I believe audio/radio streams is probably going to be more favorable to most because of feasibility vs audio + video content. A lot of the issues with a/v content streaming through GRPS is often service carrier related. Which is why some can view certain streams while others can't. Anywho, I'm running short on time being that I'll be running about in the next few weeks. I'll post progress on this thread.

Was that in a press release? I vaguely remember this 'promise', but I sure would like to ask them follow-up question if they indeed publicly promised this feature.
