yes, it works fine on T610 and T630 and indeed works on all phones (although there is some recent discussion about the Z200)
just ignore what you are seeing on the screen and follow the key sequence

I swear I had already done the proper sequence several times but obviously not!
Hmmm, feeling a little silly now, I'll go and try it when I get home.
Thanks Masseur

I also notice the t630 view find. In a bit dark places its absolutely horrible as compared to the t610. But in sunlight it way better than the t610.
I also noticed that the t630 service menu did not have any option for contrast settings. This option is available on my t610. |

Funny u should say that about the lack of the contrast option in the Service menu. I've just noticed myself!
It is unfortunate it's not there as I've just adjusted the normal contrast setting & dark pics look much better but still inferior to T610. But then again, that's why I have bought the MPF-10 Flash!(God Damn, it's bright!!)
T630 is definately better than T610 in daylight, which is good. Not to mention the fact that u can actually still see the screen in the sun while T610s becomes almost invisible!

Well, screen wise, there are no doubt that T630 is better, but camera wise you might be right about it performing better in daylight....
The thing is, it is supposed to be the same exact camera actually...
and by the way,.. T Zones is crap... its just a WAP page.. but since I have 3 (blo0dy) buttons to get to it, I'm making so much accidental access to WAp which I dont need!!!!

not really feeling the T630, its just another SE copying Nokia move as to bring out a phone thats not much different fromt the current 610...at last SE seem to be making proper busines decisions as they would have had to incur lots of people getting upgrades if the put the extra functions of the 630 into a software update for the 610.
its definitely a cheaper phone material wise, even the clear plastic covering the screen feels cheaper than the 610's.
different strokes for different folks, if the 2 came out at the same time what would you choose?
given the choice to have a 630 i declined...couldnt be bothered to download/upload my address book....thats how much it interested me.
but good to see SE finally following in the footsteps of a company that knows how to make money, maybe the joint venture will stick around longer now and not upset you die hard fans by closing. |
