I say again: the Memory Stick (and consequently Memory Stick Duo) cannot go past 128MB. This is an absolute limitation of the hardware design. The only way to get more than 128MB into a single Memory Stick card is to use that sleazy selector switch trick.
Memory Stick Pro can theoretically go up to 32GB. It'll be a little while before we hit that. |

the file system used in the standard (duo and pro) is not capable of addressing more than 128mb, that is why they will never go past 128 mb. to those of you who keep saying , maybe it will happen int he future etc etc, the future is now, they have updated it so that it can adress more than 128 mb and the update is called ms PRO!!!!
with reference to the blue sticks, they are up to 4x faster than ordinary sticks and will be replacing ordinary sticks throughout the channel |
