1.On the market- available for everyone to buy?? Whats your point?
2.If you're happy with a brick with a sim card in it, then this forum and thread is not for you.

1.so what is wrong with you? can't you read? i quoted someone that said that the best CAMERA phones are: 7250i, t610.....

i'ts not worth it to buy a 1000$+ phone. For that kinda money you can almost buy a pretty good laptop or even a kickass pc

The Haier Pen Phone
It's small, light, fits in your shirt pocket... and no one will know it's a phone. James Bond might use this.

In the ever-expanding world of the mobile phone, Vertu retains its status as the cream of the crop. The new Ascent collection combines modern technology with luxury
If Sony Eriksson is Audi and Samsung is Toyota, then Vertu, without question, is the TVR of the mobile phone world. We are talking about another league. Bespoke, exclusive, luxury, handcrafted mobile phones for rich people who really want the world to know that they appreciate quality. It is safe to say that the owner of a Vertu phone is going to pass the shoe/watch test of personal grooming – and you can also bet that the man or woman who casually rests this little baby on the bar is going to get served pretty swiftly.
Whether you actually like it or not is neither here nor there. Vertu is – and has been since its launch two years ago – the only luxury mobile communications company, and therefore those who need to have the most exclusive/expensive/best in everything have only one place to go. Vertu’s first model – in 18-carat gold or platinum, with bejewelled bearings and heavy bling factor – is pure flash. Its second, the Ascent collection (pictured above, and to be launched this month) is a little more understated.
Key features of the Ascent phone – which (if you have to ask) will retail at around 3500 euros (£2,455) – include a fine leather and stainless steel casing, a sapphire crystal face, the same jewelled bearings (you can’t see them, they are for precision and durability) and the all-important, dedicated concierge key on the side. This magic button allows clients to connect to a team of operators which can book your theatre tickets or spa appointment for you, and is on call 24/7.
If the idea of spending so much on something that will surely be defunct as soon as new technology emerges sounds daft, Vertu has thought of that. The phone is designed to be easily updateable with the newest technologies as they are proven – the casing is meant to remain as timeless as possible.
Vertu’s designer and creative director, Frank Nuovo, initially joined the Nokia subsidiary with the vision to “apply time-honoured craftsmanship to cutting edge mobile technology”. At Nokia since 1995, he continues to run the global design unit. For the Ascent range, Nuovo explains, he was inspired by luxury performance vehicles in this model. That is pretty apparent.

For me, honestly, minus the latest ones and the features it can contribute to our everyday lives - I'll still go for my old units of these . . .
