Ludwig,
sorry to dissapoint u.... nope... but overall this upgrade was good. u will be able to see the menu access part is slightly faster. and i tried with HBH-30. the connection seem better compare with R2D. if u stay near any service center. it's worth to try this new firmware out.

guys,
the R5B001 do have chinese input. but somehow or rather it hang me twice within 2 days when i play MINIGOLF. i am still not sure what lead me this problem. will check it out with authorise service center technical personnel for solution. others than that.... the R5B001 works perfectly.

cheers~

Is it free to upgrade your Firmware under warrenty anywhere in the world...

Just in case it's not, I live in Western Australia, is it free that at any SE Service Centre?

I have R2F002 on my O2 phone although it is branded.

Out of interest, what is the top left icon usually set to? I see it as O2 Active :|

Yes, its free for furmware upgrade as long as you bring the original receipt to the service centre and its under 1 warranty period ! Service centre location can be found on SE Australia website, click on support, then service centre, there's a list of service centres there !
