Hi Nick. Im from Hawaii. Voicestream kicks ass in Hawaii! Other providers are at&t, vorizon, sprint pcs, nextel, Hawaiian wireless. I use to work for both at&t when it was called Honolulu cellular, and voicestream.

I just came back from San Francisco (I took a cold with me).
The provider I got in S.F. was Cingular, it worked fine, full reception all the time, even on Alcatraz

if you want to send text to philippines (im sure you will be heh heh)... i think cingular is the only one that will work... cingular has very bad reception though, that's the only thing i hate. but i have free text and unlimited nights and weekends and i need that badly, so that's the only reason why im with cingular.

Well, if your in Sacramento California, You don't want Cingular, for starters. I am currently subscribed to At&t, and they are ok. For Mainly metro spots (ALL SAC) I would definitely go for Surewest Wireless, (i'm unsure if they can support your phone though) but if they do, That would be my best bet. Otherwise, stick with At&t. |

Your phone freezes because of the software. It has nothing to do with your provider. Solution - send it to Sony-Ericsson to get updated to T68i. It costs around $20.

Isn't the MMS upgrade already available? I have the R2F004 version of the software in my t68. I live in Finland, so maybe all software updates are not available in all countries....

Hey all!
My name is Rafael aka magu and I'm from Brazil, but now living in Milford, MA.
I am the happy owner of a lunar grey T68m upgraded to T68i and a Palm Vx. My provider is TIM (from Brazil) but they have an agreement so I can use VoiceStream (T-Mobile) network.
My actual problem is how I can make connections to the internet using my Palm Vx, my T68i and settings for my provider. Should I use TIM's settings or VoiceStream's?

I would definately use VoiceStreams. I don't know them, maybe a search would turn up somthing for you |

Hey, I'm new to this forum also... anyway
I use a T68i with AT&T in San Diego, California... reception is ok (:-/), but I think T-Mobile Service might be better... Not too sure about verizon or the other major carriers out there...
My recommendation for those in San Diego, California is _NOT_ to get Cingular... There isn't even reception in their own stores...
