Before I go and update to the R2B025, is it possible to turn the new Ez function in T9 off?

There must be a list of changes between
R2A014 -> R2B025.
Is it on the Emma2 server?
I mean shouldn't SP ppl know what the software
fix/add so they know what happens when they upgrade phones?

Hmm this is strange, I mailed a SE service center in 'Den haag' asking them for the new software for the T68i, and they replied:

We currently have the R2B but we're expecting to get new software next week.

Are they making a mistake or is there really going to be another update? Here is the Dutch text, for Dutch-speaking people only :

Ik heb gehoord dat er een software-update is voor de SE T68i
(R2B025). Is dat waar, en zoja, kan ik mijn telefoon bij de Phoneshop laten
flashen?

>>
Goedemiddag,

De nieuwste software die wij op dit moment hebben is de R2B.
Indien je bij ons langs komt, kunnen we direct de software updaten.

We verwachten over ± 1 week de nieuwere software binnen te hebben.

Met vriendelijke groeten,

hmm they were mistaken, they do have (new?) software for the i, but they don't know which version it is yet... ;(

Hallo,

Changes between R2A014 and R2B025, that I have noticed so far:

1) T9 word candidates window popup
2) T9 typing alot faster. Finally it seems to keep up with my typing!
3) SMS menu handling faster
3) Bug fixes in Music Composer (volume effects didn't work)

I will keep you posted if I find more bug fixes. I think its mainly bug fixes in this release.

I thought the R2B025 also had eZiTouch and eZiTap™ input mode and not just eZiText
Wouldn't it be cool if you just had to type: t o m o
and click 'yes' and it would display the word: tomorrow
ie word completion and not just word prediction. With eZiTap it could also complete words like: 2nite
by just typing 2 n and click yes!
Oh well. Had my hopes up too high this time (as always). Maybe we will get it later on. ( or maybe I havn't found the enable option )

if they have access to the EMMA server, which they'll have if they are a servicepoint, they can get the latest version there. But it might be that the softwareversion with dutch language still has R2A as latest, but the European versions use to keep together, so if one language version has a new release, all the others has it as well.

EMMA2 server is the Ericsson-server where the software-versions are available for download.
Only Service Points can access this.

Help. i'm really starting to think that there is no Dutch t68i new sw yet!
