@t68iNWO

i compared my old 7210 with T610 batteries..

i use them the same way, the same network... i dont use BT, nor GPRS

UNFORTUNATLY,, nokia 7210 won !!

dont forget that SE says that the battery stays up to 14hrs talking,,
and Nokia says that the battery stays up to 5hrs talking !!!

therefor, Nokia's estimates are mostly true, BUT 's estimates are usually false !!!

b.t.w. i am not a Nokia fan.. but i dont like to be fooled

There are a lot of facts that was mistaken in the comparison between the T610 and the N7250:

1) 65000 colours in T610 and only 4096 colours in Nokia
2) Bluetooth availability
3) Bigger screen (Bigger screen resolution takes more battery power)

Well, dubai 911, I think that you really underestimate your T610, and remember, the battery power is also strictly depending on network status, and Etisalat's network is a constantly varying network...

Man, T610 rocks Nokia a shit!!

Cheers

@devilishcry

if knows that this model uses more battery power, then why they say that the talking time is up to 14hrs ??

ok lets say that 50% of the etimate is true.. which is 7hrs... can u find for me a guy who talked 7hrs in 1 battery session ??

ok lets say that 25% of the etimate is true.. which is 3.5hrs... can u find for me a guy who talked 3.5hrs in 1 battery session ??

the max. no. i got is 2.5hrs !!! which is less than 25% of wat said !!!
and the figure wasnt taken only from my country (United Arab Emirates),, but from over the world !!!

and dont forget that charging time is 4hrs for & 1.5-2hrs for nokia !!!

i am not Nokia fan,, but i hate to be cheated

Standbytime is exactly what it says, when the phone is in standby, which in the T610 case is when the phone shows the screensaver. Under perfect conditions and without using the screen it will be possible to reach the stated standbytime.

As soon as you use the screen the standbytime is reduced because the difference in power usage is quite large.

Talktime is also the same. If you take a newly charged phone and have perfect conditions and talk non-stop you can probably reach the 14 hrs.

And as someone said before there is a difference between which network you use.

I'm very pleased with my T610 standby-time. When I'm using bluetooth (always on), The phone last between 2-3 days (with some sms sent and making/recieving calls, and quite a lot of GPRS usage).

Without bluetooth I get between 4-5 days, which I think is pretty good, and compares pretty well to my old T68i.

@dubai911

Hmm.. sounds like your battery is faulty. You should certainly get several days of standby...

If I don't use my phone (just occasional phonecall), my battery lasts a week. Normal use, there is juice for 3-4 days, but I charge it every 2 days though...
If I had all the answers, I wouldn't have any questions.

My battery last approx 5-6 days (no BT) with normal usage, only phonecalls and sms.

I think its very important to charge a new battery 10-14 hours the first 3-4 times and drain the battery completely between those charges.
