I use mine to write new message. I agree with other posts though, I think using it for the camera is a bit redundant, considering there is already a dedicated shortcut key! Profiles - why not use the voice commands?

I've assigned left joystick to 'record sound' aka 'voice memo'.

That way, wherever I am I'm only a couple of buttons away from reminding myself to do something - and I don't even have to look at the phone screen to do it. People bag me for doing it, but it's not long before they want me to remind them to do something and they tell me 'speak it to your phone'...

Every morning I check my voice memos, action the ones I need to do straight away, and put the others into Outlook and sync them back into the phone.

I have my second shortcut as 'my sounds' so I just go >, 3, 2 and send text is >, 3, 3.

Thank you Sony Ericsson!

I've set it to "Profiles" but I would have liked being able to open my shortcuts list with it...

Record - then it just takes one joystick movement to be able to record those conversations where people "forget" that they said something. Or to record the minutes of meetings - covertly or otherwise ....

1: Inbox (SMS)
2: Alarm
3: View month
4: Calculator
5: Bookmarks (WAP)
6: Send contact
7: My card (convenient for sending it)
8: Ring volume
9: Select profile
10: Edit shortcuts... (of course)

Very quick to do > 3 3 to access the calendar. Or > 3 4 to use the calculator.
